A mate of mine is a season ticket holder at Huddersfield he has met Rhodes and stated that he is an intelligent young man. His father is the goalkeeping coach at Forest. So I don't think he would have taken this decision lightly.
I think the fact that Blackburn is only an hour away from Huddersfield may have had something to do with it, plus I would imagine he would have some sort of get out clause if promotion fails written into his contract.

Clauses are tricky
His hands are tied insofar as no-one, other than BB have offered him a move. BB are probably offering more money than Huddersfield.
Any sane, rational thinking person would wait at Huddersfield for another stable club, Wolves for example, to take a punt. But this is football.
BB are all of a sudden, splashing huge cash!

As a Scotland fan, it pains me to see the most promising forward we've had for an aeon plying his trade with the ACME-run football club.
Scottish managers tend to take promising Scottish players under their wing, but I'd sooner they all fled to the safety of David Moyles at the moment. Probably learn something at least. I get the impression Steve Kean will just point him a the pitch and go, "Well? Go on then. Do your stuff.", forgetting he's a kid that could be focused with a better manager. |  | | |
