Austin in the second or third tier of QPR legends. His attitude and fitness in his second spell was unforgivable. I thought I was seeing things when he came off gasping for air v Birmingham ten games in.
Went on Undr The Cosh bragging about diddling JFH out of a fitness session so he could go to Ibiza or somewhere.
Really soured his excellent first spell where he dragged us up the leagues.

A mount rushmore without gerry francis not a mount rushmore. Our best ever player, better than marsh and bowles, and a great manager.
Bare bones.

I thought about Gerry, I really did.
However, the masonry costs of carving a mullet into a mountain are not that far off HS2. Equally, put him in the middle, and the mullet will obscure the other nominees either side of him if the wind is blowing. Put him on the end, then it becomes more a health and safety issue.

Lazarus would up there for me. Scored the winning goal in our only ever major trophy win. Les and Macca are also good shouts. Don’t know about the fourth spot but wouldn’t have Austin anywhere near it!

Sorry Bazza down voted instead of up voting, couldn't agree more that Austin gets nowhere near a QPR mount Rushmore. Macca, Ferdinand, Gerry and Stan. Marsh is close but just don't like him as much as the others.
