This had been a very odd season with with us being just 4 points and goal difference behind 5th place Middlesborough.
The reality is we could stay 16th but miss out on playoffs by just a few points.

The other side of the coin, we won't make the play offs and will blame Martin and others when the reality could be that we don't have the squad capable of it.
The reality is, we finish where we deserve to finish, some will think we should be doing better, others will think we are where we deserve and others think we could be dragged into a relegation scrap......thats an opinion regardless how one butters their opinion up. |  |

hard to guess until we can see what we have at our disposal at the end of the transfer window. it also hard to really work out what is a good outcome for us these days; it doesn't feel like a championship winning squad so beyond that we are going to yo yo in results as do most in this league! Clearly dropping into the losing more than we win cluster would not feel particularly positive, most things about the club at the moment feels like a keeping our head above water strategy. | | | |

Cup round where he can give some of the younger fringe players a chance to fit into the team but a waste of time if he trys and play them out of the positions they have previously coached in.

The team that didn't win in 8 but drew 5 of those still top 6 as the team is better than last years even with starting with three in defence and having to revert to four later in the game. Cut out the sloppy passing and continue passing forward with intent.
