The morning after 08:24 - Dec 27 with 2498 views | MytchettSaint | It all feels a bit Steve Wigleyesque today to me. Reading about them being given two weeks off given we’d just changed head of football department is absurd, but it also makes perfect sense in saintsworld. Nick said on here recently, you just have to accept football for what it is now. Next season that will probably mean thousands of empty pink hued seats each week to look at for those still attending. Roll on Fulham where I shall enjoy my free pint thanks to the voucher and watching Mitrovic tear us a new one. If the Tory party were running a football club, it would be us. Does that mean we just accept that everybody else in the Prem has better-prepared, more motivated and fitter sides than us? All of those things are completely within the club’s control.

“Does that mean we just accept that everybody else in the Prem has better-prepared, more motivated and fitter sides than us?” Yes, nice guys finish last and all that. Someone has to be bottom at the end of the season. Now if you could just watch this PR clip on our social media pages and give us a few likes that would be ace as the club are leaders in fan engagement metrics at the mo and we don’t want to slip.

We are not even good at buying lower and selling High.

Couldn’t agree more. It’s supposed to be fun but it’s now a very expensive, miserable experience. We always had hope to sustain us but even that has disappeared. The premier league is a joke. Roll on the championship & I might just renew my season tickets…

Yep, our owners and the Tory party are cut from the same cloth.

If you want to bring politics into it, let's get Gary Neville in then.
