I can scarcely bring myself to rate this bunch of witless wasters

An insult to us fans

Well done Blades, you maxed out on the opportunity

Not sure how Harry can blame fatigue, seven of this team have been sat on their arses for most of the season. One team wanted it more than the other....all too familiar and unless we show up at Burnley, we are in for an embarrassing spanking. Shocking but not remotely surprising.

Apart from JWP being a bit off the pace, there was nothing really wrong with Saints' performance in this game except that it was - well a bit boring frankly. Most of the press reports have made the same point - that Ipswich parked the tractor - and that is true especially in the second half where any shot on target was unlikely to hit the back of the net simply by virtue of the mass of bodies in the way. This is a game we ought to win on the replay, especially if Clyne is back to unlock their defence, but I don't think that many of us will fancy the long trip to East Anglia (and Ipswich is even less attractive than Sheffield if that might be thought possible). Full marks to young Master Isgrove by the way - a raw talent with masses of potential. The management must strive to hold on to him.

I think the team was set up incorrectly for this match. James W-P certainly isn't a right back and looked to be a fish out of water. Playing Long on the right wing was a waste of what talent he has. Pelle consequently had no-one running off him (not that he won too much in the air) and when he did it was invariably Steven Davis. Davis was my man of the match for Saints but he's no opportunist. I thought Morgan's display was lethargic and goodness knows what's happened to Tadic! Maybe the pace of English football has taken its toll. After twenty minutes he was largely ineffectual. Another nice cameo from a younger player, this time Isgrove. A sort of footballing Sonic. It was obvious before half-time that we couldn't beat Ipswich in the air so why all the high crosses. Their GK didn't have to come for anything. But the real problem was no width or pace on the wings until Isgrove appeared. James W-P wouldn't take on his man and did what Fernandes used to do ten years ago - always cutting inside and running up a cul-de-sac. Have to say that Martin Atkinson was one of the better referees we've seen this season although we might have had a penalty for a foul on Long given outside the box. Wanyama and Bertrand tried hard, sadly Fonte made a few errors in passing again but they didn't cost us. Ipswich will come at us in the replay and if we play the ball on the ground and start with pace on the wings we should have too much for them. Mings looked a good prospect. Pity he's not a RB, would have been good cover for Clyne. I presume Toby didn't play RB as he was being saved for MU.

awful performance. dreadful defending for the goals and all round lack of effort skill by the rs Sheff U played well and deserved the win. dreadful atmosphere in LR crowd dulled by performance other than great support from the away end who supported their team for whole 90 minutes. Caulker had a mare. Hoilet could not get a cross in and Rio Mutch and Mc Carthy looked more League 2 players . other than sitting in SAR in platinum seat with leg room instead of upper loft for the first time was a dreadful waste of an afternoon

This performance was about as disinterested and lethargic as it is possible to be. One of the worst QPR performances I've ever seen live for a number of reasons. Totally outclassed and out thought by a team from two divisions below. An embarrassment to behold. Would playing the kids have done Redknapp any harm?

got blown away by a more committed team. QPR put a good team out but they just didi not gel-surprised as I thought Rio would have brought some leadership

I went. We were terrible, not lethargic, just completely inept.

I don't think anyone was expecting much but this was just dreadful. In my 47 years supporting R's I have never given any manager any real stick but when is everyone in the football world going to realise that Harry R is an old school manger who simply can't build or motivate a team. I was delighted when he came here two years ago but apart from moving on the dead wood what has he really achieved - apart from bringing in more dead wood !!.
He's regarded as a hero for getting us promoted but let's be fair, we should have walked into the Prem last year and were lucky to get over the line. R's will never move forward while Harry is in charge and we're heading for a very rapid return the Championship.
And as for Hoilett (or should it be Toilet !!) he has never produced anything of note for Rangers and, together with several others, should be banished forever.
Notwithstanding all that, I'll be there as usual cheering and supporting the team against Man U.
