Only in the fact I follow Swansea City. I’ve no interest in the wellbeing of the Welsh league or should I say my club doing something to jeopardise its daily bread and butter to help members of that league.
I think there’s a huge difference if I’m right in my thinking. The previous owners had an investment fund to answer to whether the current owners are single investors. They’re not going to be silly with their money, nobody should expect that but they’ll be a little more liberal in the hope that they strike gold (PL).
Even with no signings to date, I’ve got a lot more faith in this current ownership group BUT they need help in the ins and outs of running a football club.
I saw the two Portsmouth goals. How lucky are they? First was a penalty which in my mind wasn’t, we’d not have got it for sure. Second was a defensive error and attacker beat goalkeeper to it and into net. These sort of things don’t seem to happen to us.
You do wonder if there is some agenda that keeps teams at the top close together so that there is no clear runaway leader. Probably not but sometimes it just seems that way.
There have got to be people in the admin department who know how to do this. It doesn’t need the Chairman to do it personally. He should be signing it off.
That’s what is called a team effort. Brewster squeaks like he’s stepped on an IED then runs around like a racehorse seconds later. That should all be taken into account when / if we appeal.
We’ve got nowt to lose because it could never be classed as a frivolous appeal.
Never comment on that lot until at least 5 mins after the final whistle. Their luck at the death in so many games astounds me. If they show their best football at those times then why don’t they do it earlier in the game. That way they’d be promoted by Christmas!
