Let's face it, this is it, this is the point at which we stand up and be counted or whither and die. There is almost nothing to suggest we have the fight or ability to overcome a limited but spirited saints side. We have made an unbelievable hash of our foray into the premier league.poor decisions, wasted money and have embarrassed the good name of QPR to boot. The fact we still have an opportunity to save ourselves despite being frikin awful for so long indicates the paucity of quality on the best league in the world. I, like everyone, cling to the hope we can do it. But seriously, we deserve to go down, we have been shite. I hope TF sticks with us next year and beyond. We rebuild and kick on. |

Apart from the poor performance from Zamora and the anonymity of Tarrabt in the second half I thought this was e decent performance. Granero, Diakite and even M'bia did well. Faurlin should definitely have featured after the sending off. More positives than negatives for me, but Faurlin back in the centre with Hoillet replacing Park and one up front against Arsenal. Still remain confident we will pull clear. |

Great report Clive. I personally believe Hughes intended to pair M''Bia with Michael Dawson as centre halve with Diakite in front. Someone needs to be asking Hughes a few hard questions about his tactical decisions.....is there a forum to facilitate this? If nothing else it might pacify an increasingly confused and bewildered support base. |

N12Hoop......why precisely can't we trust Adel and Junior? both looked significantly more potent than SWP and Park when they came on. The goal from Adel and his inch perfect, beautifully weighted pass to Cisse were top drawer and class that we need on the pitch. Junior will run at defences all day long and put defenders on the back foot and has an eye for goal. Song at left back and M'bia in behind Granero and Faurlin for this one, with Tarbs and Junior supporting Zamora. It's not rocket science. |
| News Comment | Allardyce Hammers Hughes on grim night in W12 — full match report at 22:21:03
Bang on the money Clive. I did say last week that Diakite should play in behind Faurlin and Granero with Taraabt and Hoillet out wide. My heart sank when I saw SWP and Park selected again. Just what the fook is Hughes thinking? Utterly bizarre. I thought M'bia was all over the place in the first half, but did well in the second. Fully expect him to come good. Still believe that with a fully fit squad and the right selection and formation, we will have a top team. pull your finger out Hughes before it's too late you arse wipe! |
| News Comment | In front twice, QPR contrive to lose Reading cup tie — full match report at 09:55:06
Clearly a very frustrating night, but now is not the time to panic. Hughes has already indicated that fitness levels are not where they need to be. Faurlin, Grenaro ,M'bia and Diakite cannot yet be at 100%. Compounded by the injuries in defence we are nowhere near full capacity. We are probably still a month away from reaching anywhere near our full potential, but by then things could be looking decidedly awful with confidence and belief at an all time low, certainly with the support. Noises coming from the players indicate they know there is plenty of quality within the camp, but it hasn't yet fallen in to place for all the reasons outlined above. Personally, I would play one up top and sit Diakite in behind Faurlin and Granero. Tarrabt and Hoillet out wide. Keep the faith. Once it clicks into place, someone is going to cop for a good hiding and we won't look back. |
| News Comment | Zamora and Faurlin restore calm amidst transfer window storm — full match report at 16:24:30
Will Faurlin play on Saturday is the big question? Certainly hope he gets at least 60 mins. A welcome victory that hopefully settles the nerves. High expectations are crippling our confidence and belief, particularly Green's. If we can nail a dominant, quality centre back as well as Cesaer,I think we can relax and wait for it all to fall into place and hopefully that is sooner rather than later. |
| News Comment | The collection of individuals — tactics at 15:25:02
Ferdinand and Hill aren't good enough. Faurlin needs to sit behind Song and Diakite ( who's not had enough game time), with Tarbs and hoillet out wide. Love Mackie, but he needs to be benched, impact player only. short summation, but our main distributor of the ball is key to our formation. |
| News Comment | QPR’s summer of optimism blown apart for super soaraway Swans — full match report at 10:18:52
Played like bunch of strangers in my opinion. The talent is clearly evident in the midfield and forward areas but we are poor in defence and have actually gone backwards with Green in goal. Confidence will not come back for Green overnight and we cannot afford to wait too long. What strikes me is I did not see this formation throughout preseason, with Diakite featuring in very little. Hughes clearly got it wrong but is still to decide on his formation and balancing the team accordingly. It may take time to gel and we need a class centre half, but with Faurlin to come back nag Boswinga to fill that troublesome right back slot, I believe we will still come good. Swansea played well and Routledge was excellent, but it did feel like we got sucker punched on at least 3 occasions. Keep the faith, it will come good, but Green is a big concern. |
| News Comment | LFW Season Preview Part Two — The Chasing Pack at 13:30:18
I'm putting a cheeky tenner on us finishing in the top six. As perfectly illustrated by your excellent musings, there is nothing to fear beyond the usual 4 big hitters. Man utd down to 4th, Newcastle 5th followed by our good selves just in front of the rapidly improving Liverpool. My only conern is.......Rob Green. Over rated in the extreme |
| News Comment | QPR have four moved for TV, Fernandes surveys new ground sites - diary at 16:23:39
Condolences to Alan's family. A legend and a loss. It's a real shame he won't be around for what looks like being the start of a very bright future for his beloved hoops. Some top signings and the imminent announcement of a new stadium (with retracting roof for other commercial use), all adds up to a great time to be a QPR fan. Bhatia and Fernandes have been a god send. Roll on the new season. |
| News Comment | LFW Awaydays — Bolton, Reebok Stadium at 19:27:08
Why have women replaced men as the drunken arsewipes of the world? I must be getting old, it never used to be that way. I love the missus, but she's a piss head. And as for the frikin labour party...... |
| News Comment | LFW Awaydays — Bolton, Reebok Stadium at 19:13:53
Quality read. After the anger has subsided you have to reflect on how truly poor we really were. Got to laugh. Ultimately, you can't rebuild a team at the back end of a premiership campaign and survive. Won't happen, let's not kid ourselves. We have to regroup for next year. Reality has hit home, but I love my footy and am confident we will bounce back. Berating the team is not answer, does no one any favours. Time for Hughes to make the right decisions for the right reasons. It's gone tits up, accept it, plan for the next year - but get it right! |
| News Comment | Not very good, not very lucky, QPR suffer crushing Bolton loss — full match report at 12:50:56
In simple terms, our championship winning side of last year would have battered Bolton. The balance, belief, confidence and team spirit is just not there. The fixed incredulous look on Hughes' face throughout the game spoke volumes. With that formation however, it's hardly surprising it was so poor. Beggars belief. |
