What you mean to say is, you don't have an answer.

Yes, wages have lagged behind. Inflation was caused by other factors, high energy costs and high food costs and blatant profit grabbing by supermarkets and restaurants etc after the covid opening up period

I believe it was one journalist that put that story about. It's the same in every conflict, one side demonises the other. We did it with Saddam and the babies in the incubators, total lies, but many fall for it time and time again. I'm not saying many weren't killed and maimed, and it was awful, but what's going on now has trumped that many times over.

I'm sorry to say , but you are correct, it's plain Islamophobia with many.

Michael Moore always said he thought it was the Saudi Royal family behind the attack. We will never know

Actually no! The rape thing was debunked ages ago, even the IDF said it didn't happen. The Palestinians in Israeli jails help without charges can't move freely, maybe Israel should release those hostages

Actually no, because wages have lagged behind inflation not the other way round

Troops yes, but not civilians. The Russians haven't targeted schools, hospitals, tented refugee camps. Ukrainians are not starving, they have free movement, hence the millions who have left the parts that haven't seen war at all

If the BBC is institutionally left-wing, its key personnel should be too. Yet the recently departed chairman Chris Patten is a former Conservative cabinet minister. Veteran newspaper editor Andrew Neil, presenter of two high-profile political shows, is quite openly right-wing. Making the case that Andrew Marr and former national Young Conservatives chairman Nick Robinson, two of BBC TV’s other leading political broadcasters, are rabid pinkos is a hopeless task.

I'm glad you have seen this at last. You have criticised Putin and Russia, rightly or wrongly, but this lot are far worse. It's just that we have been conditioned, propagandized, etc to believe that the US is for good, and can't do any wrong; land of the free, the leaders of the free world, the world's policemen and such other nonsense. It's becoming apparent to many that they are the real problem in the world today.

Neither do conventional forces. Hundreds of thousands killed in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria , Gaza and that's just fairly recently

A 35 hour week is fair enough if the workload is organised efficiently. Extra hours don't necessarily mean more productivity. The reason this countries workplaces are so inefficient compared to many others is a lack of investment into the businesses and a culture of cutting costs. and overheads. That philosophy will only get a business so far, and then what?

That goes against the Conservative ideology of taking industry and utilities out of state hands and into the private sector. They were never going to nationalise it
