| Your Report | Swansea City v Southampton Your Report added at 19:31:18 A special mention to Will Smallbone who some fans along with Manning have given far too much stick this season. I thought he was absolutely tremendous today. |
| Your Report | Queens Park Rangers v Southampton Your Report added at 22:20:21 A 6 for Manning, what's the matter with some of you? Everyone knows he must get the lowest mark, doesn't matter how he plays and whether or not you saw the game? This is simply the rule, so think about this before the next game, i already know he deserves a 4 at best. |
| Your Report | Southampton v Leicester City Your Report added at 21:27:03 Can the mindless idiots who boo players even before a ball is kicked please stop now, it does nobody any good. Why can't we simply get behind the players out there wearing red and white? We have had tough times before, and i'm sure we will again, this never used to happen. Hard fought victory today, so well done to ALL the players, here's hoping for more victories to see us over the line. |
| Your Report | Everton v Southampton Your Report added at 17:44:46 Only listened on the radio, but they thought Adams played very well, don't know who was right? Brilliant win and it seems silly to critisise anyone this week, 3 great wins and things are starting to look more hopeful, still a lot of work to be done. But we have a decent chance now, with any luck it's onwards and upwards from now on. Can't wait to see what "I would " has to say about this? |
| Your Report | Southampton v Brighton and Hove Albion Your Report added at 21:04:02 Blimey that was as bad as it gets! You could easily make a case for dropping every player except Edozie for next week. Obviously we can't do that, but something has to change or we will be cut adrift. I think Bazunu has to be left out for his own good, i also fear the two cb's are so lacking in positional sense that we will continue to concede easy goals. Lyanco can not be faulted for effort but to me is way out of his depth [ Yoshida was sold for being inconsistant], he charges into reckless challenges that leave him miles out of position. Salisu has also gone miles back from where he was. The full backs are ok, JWP is playing very poorly, but we have no one else. Diallo, A Armstrong, Djenepo simply arn't good enough, not at all convinced by Aribo either. Of the rest we have to try and cobble a team together until the injured players return and hopefully some new recruits arrive? All in all it's not looking very encouraging, but fingers crossed we can turn things around. Staying up on goal difference would be seen as success right now. Up the SAINTS!!! |
| Your Report | Southampton v Liverpool Your Report added at 23:19:08 Lyanco and Stephens are the 2 worst cb's i have ever seen at our club. We sold Yoshida and now we have this utter shit, something needs doing about this situation. Who the bloody hell coaches them? |
| Your Report | Southampton v Chelsea Your Report added at 19:23:57 What a shambles that was, Fraser aside they can all hang their heads in shame. At least we can now put to bed the claims that the so called best fans all sit/stand in the singing section, hardly any of them left with 20 minutes to go! Move on a hope for better next week is all we can do. |
| Your Report | Southampton v Coventry City Your Report added at 23:29:41 I must watch a dfferent game to bawdrip, i thought Stephens was as usual absolutley dreadful. Lyanco is a crowd favouite, but is definately not the answer long term. Sadly Adam Armstrong simply does not look anywhere near good enough, he would be very much 4th choice forward for me. Still, we won and are in the hat, a decent draw and we can look forward to a decent crack at this Cup and hopefully a comfortable league position. |
| Your Report | Crystal Palace v Southampton Your Report added at 22:45:20 Lyanco looks like another disaster waiting to happen type, i don't think at present we have a decent cb at the club. Salisu maybe in the future but currently we are all at sea in that position. Djenpo once again proved a complete waste of a substitution. Over all a decent away point as long as we back it up with a win on saturday. |
| Your Report | Newcastle United v Southampton Your Report added at 17:48:24 This is a very difficult defeat to take, we really have no excuses. McCarthy makes far too many mistakes, i'd bring Forster in till the end of the season to see if he is still good enough. Can't believe we had 20 minutes against 9 men and barely tested their keeper. This season now relies solely on Thursday vs Wolves, lose that and it all starts to look pretty bleak. We won't go down but the bottom 6 looks very likely, very sad after the way we started! |
| Your Report | Manchester United v Southampton Your Report added at 22:34:19 I never thought i would write these words. I think i'm done with football, var, the stupid rules, this is not the game i fell in love with in the 70's. Take nothing away from Utd tonight they were superb, whilst we were pathetic. but i simply can not watch games ruined by the ridiculous rules of modern football. I have been a season ticket holder since 1975, i doubt i will be in the future. What a sad, sad day. |
