At home the onus is on being more expansive and taking the game to the opponent. Away it's far more acceptable to keep it tight defensively and try to nick something on the counter. I would suggest that our lack of attacking threat means when we play like this we get picked off by the opposition as we are more open and still don't score. So over the last 2 seasons, we are better at keeping it defensively tight.
That's not quite true. There are 2 types. One is very slow developing and you will probably die of other causes before it gets you. The second is rapid and aggressive and if it leaves the prostate you are in deep trouble. Unfortunately speaking from experience. My grandad died of it, my dad had it and both me and my brother. Second type resulting in a radical prostatectomy (where they remove the prostate).
What about rotating the pitch 90 degrees and potentially building a tunnel for the South Africa Rd under the stadium? You could then have the bigger stands at the current school and loft ends with smaller height stands at Ellerslie and South Africa road ends.
Classic lines "When you look at Van Bronckhorst he won the Scottish Cup and got to the Europa League final. He was a penalty kick away from winning it and qualified for the Champions League after that so for him to lose his job early was a surprise."
Reminds me of an ex who couldn’t conquer her demons and ended up checking out of this life way too early. I had to leave her as she caused me so much trouble but still remember the call I got that she had gone. A beautiful woman but a troubled soul.
