Agreed, simplistic it is but maybe that’s all you need to know against some teams.
Perhaps if we just converted a few more chances each game, that would be more than enough for most teams. We just need to be more clinical than we have been because we have had more than enough opportunities recently. Especially compared with earlier in the season.
I don’t think we will be smashing 4 or 5 last anyone but scoring 2-3 goals a game goes a long way to a decent points return in this league. Especially when you have the right set up at the back and a great Keeper. |

It would have been amusing to have signed George Bury to play alongside Bob Hazell, reimagining their ‘formidable’ defensive relationship from Wolves.
Hopefully with less own goals mind you, given that they somehow managed to score one every couple of weeks for Wanderers, much to my dad’s chagrin and our delight at the time.
Quite like to re-sign Eze one day. I reckon he could do a job for us in his mid 30s - Ray Wilkins style, alongside a young pair of legs and lungs, a la Ian Holloway.
The list of bad signings is way too long to type but SWP springs to mind and is easy on the arthritic thumbs. |

I imagine that’s probably quite embarrassing data for some players and begs the question, how come they get more starts if they don’t meet a certain standard.
Add in the higher level stats of touches, passes etc and it’s a whole other level of professional standards missed - unless someone is carrying a knock and offers to play regardless. |
