There was the incident of the spy in London as well. Dangerous Russian chemicals were being distributed in the UK killing one citizen with no apology.

We are not discussing USA but Russia.

Russian propaganda also calls Zelenski a drug addict. I have
seen no evidence for this. Navallny was know to have been poisoned as well and his health was attributed to this. A spell in an artic prison was not the best way to treat him.

There is no major opposition as they gave been jailed or assassinated like Boris Mentzov on a bridge in Moscow.

The government change he was by the will of the people who wanted to join the EU then and still do..only Putin stops them.

I follow this issue very closely and my opinions are based on reading. I also watched RT before the war and the Duran Scott Ritter Gen McGregor and Professor Sachs and Galloway who I regard as all paid for by RT. The Duran's director is Peter Lavelle who hosted many RT shows which I watched. I have an open mind.

The site is a steel works not a theme park. The Port Talbot works are converting and will continue to pay staff well who remain. What a crazy idea.

The issue is therefore satisfactorily resolved for them in that case.. ( while never forgetting the tragic loss of life).

Dr P told us the issue was done and dusted two years ago and Cardiff would never get any compensation. He was very wrong as usual.

UK is a business capital and very strong on insurance. A settlement of as been made which is good. Hopefully Nantes and Cardiff have come to an agreement.

The EU wants them to join and the 2014 election was based in this trajectory. This is what the war is about. Ukrainians want to align with the west. You and Putin want them aligned to Russian dictators. I sense Russia wants to grab as much land before the inevitable happens. France has been negotiating about rare earths for months. USA are interlopers.

Russia cannot claim to want to stop Ukraine becoming democratic. They gave created an anti NATO narrative but it is not the main issue. EU membership is the issue.

New party same old faces. The Brexit party in new clothes. Philosophy is unchanged. The WAg lined up ineos for a green field site in Bridgend in 2015. This would employ the old Ford workers and Tata redundancy people. Thousands of jobs.

Then NPT voted for Brexit and Radcliffe took his factory to Toulouse instead. 3000 worked in say £ 30,000. £90m pa for the NPT economy lost by following UKIp / Brexit / Reform. The people of NPT get what they voted for 50 USA jobs in it place keeping computers cool.

You are aligned with Putin. Things are not complicated. He poisons people including UK citizens. He has a track record of invading foreign lands and occupying them. ( Different to US).

He is a dictator that intimidates and kills his rivals like Navallny. Ukraine wanted to break away from him and it was never going to be easy. Ukraine removed the government in 2014 by will of the people (possibly with US help).

You need to look for n the mirror and ask yourself why you support Putin on here. He is a very nasty piece of work.

According to Trumps plan the US miners would be protected but a Euro army. Russia would certainly attack them if they see this weak US president.

Trump does not want to fight and has told everyone. He wants to make money but not so the hard yards. Any business thinks like this. We h see it in Wales. Dig up the coal and left somebody else clean up the mess.

EU wants them to join. It is a force for fiscal control and improving of governance ( relatively). Italy and Greece are probably less corrupt from EU membership.

In my opinion Putin was more afraid of EU than NATO. The 2014 was about movement towards the EU not NATO. This does not fit the Putin / Prof Sachs narrative.

Israel and Gaza is a problem for the west. The c violence arises a out of land theft in its simplest form. The land grabbers are Russia and Israel. Everyone is compromised..

I regard Gill as an alleged traitor. Welsh people need to understand Reform have done enough damage already and have Trump / Musk / JD Vance steak.

They can insult anyone but get precious when people argue with them if they h get in power. Seen every where from Erdogan in Turkiye who locks up people for mild criticisms. "Insulting the President".

Ukrainian people appear to want to join the west and escape Russian influence. EU was on the menu in 2014 before Putin blocked it.

They will be prepared to ditch the people of the occupied Donbass and Donetz in a deal I expect. Crimea is not sustainable without Zelenski' s approval. It is well within Ukrainian missile range that can sink any Russian ship

Trump has exaggerated the figures and Ukraine arming represent a very small percentage of the Pentagon spending. USA big g riddles are Russia China and Hard Islam.

Defending democracy against Russia is what the defence was designed for. They gave been spending billions for 80 years fearing the Russian tanks .

When they started rolling USA is saying we are out. It is cowardice. What have they been doing for 80 years?

Russians are so stupid. They loss 1000s of troops invading farmland not once but twice. Bahkmut took them a year and Avdiivka another year now Proprosk. Two towns turned to dust. and a third under the sights of Russian cannons. No one liberated they have all left.

Putin left $ 300 billion in Belgium. Europe do not really want to use this money but if Trump pulls out they will. Oops what an horrendous error by the big man $ 300 billion good grief. $ 60 billion for 5 years or $ 30 bill for 10 years. They can vaporise a lot of Russians with that sort of money.

Hard to see how Putin has any fanboys at all but he does.He smiles at his poisoning exploits which a seems particularly cowardly. Some poisoning was within 2 hours of Swansea killing a British citizen.

Trump was "disrespected" by another president who warned him not to trust the great poisoner who does not honour his agreements. This is the man that wants to make Canada the 51 at state and annex parts of Denmark not ruling out force. People need to stop taking him as a joke.

Falklands were and are sovereign British land occupied by British Commonwealth citizens. Russian invaded Ukrainian land occupied by Ukrainian citizens and Ukrainian passport holders. Quite different scenarios. Kosovo nay be a better comparison..

Some were seduced by Russian agitation by the likes of KGM man Strelkov who is currently in jail for criticism of Putin. He has admitted stirring up the locals for Russia . There was an organised rebellion and sadly this inevitably leads to violence as the central Government attempted to put down the rebellion.

The best place for ethnic Russians to live in is Russia. Putin says Russians and Ukrainians are the same so separation was not required. UK voted for Brexit and Scotland was strongly against. They did not turn to violence.

The 2014 change in government arose out of the President reneging on his own manifesto to move to join the EU. This was blocked by Putin and Ukrainians were furious and the president ran away to Moscow. Ukraine will be in the EU eventually as will Belarus. It is what the young people want in my opinion. They are dealing with Russia so there is no voluntary break up as seen in 1992.

Do you realise Ukraine has recovered 70,000 sq Km from Russia since the 2022 Istanbul talks.? This is an area of the size of Scotland. If they accepted peace then Kherson and Izyum would still be Russian.

In Kharkov Russians are invading areas for the second time and losing 100s of troops every day. They have taken some of that back but lost some of their own land too near Suzdja.

Ukraine getting independence was never going to be easy with the bully Russia as their neighbour and a a Russified fifth column among their population in the Donbass.

The trouble kicked off when Ukraine voted to join the EU not NATO in 2014. The Nationalist pro Russians and Putin objected to the vote and Donbass people allowed themselves to be agitated by far right ex KGB people. They thought Russia would help them. ( In 2016 two years later Scotland were upset about Brexit but accepted the result to keep the peace).

The Donbass males who backed Russia are largely dead or injured as they were sent to the front. Many of their leaders a have been executed either by Ukrainians or Russian mafiosi.

Mariupol, Bahkmut Avdiivka were cleansed if all and replaced buy grateful Siberians loyal to the hammer and suckle.

Ukraine like an unhappy wife made the final break and has got beaten up as a leaving present but the hubby got a knife in the back for his violent trouble.

Russia cannot take Ukraine without US help.
