We were talking at half time on Tuesday and wondering when we were last four goals ahead at half time, anyone know? Also with Tovide on a hat-trick, which he ultimately didn't get, who was the last player to score a hat-trick in the league for the U's? My guess was our old favourite Jevani Brown. Tuesday was our third clean sheet in a row in the league. The last time we achieved that was under Ben Garner at the end of the 2022/23 season. Oddly it involved the same three results (0-1, 0-0 and 4-0) but in a different order (4-0, 0-1 and 0-0). I'm struggling to find a time when we managed four clean sheets in a row but surely it must've happened at some point. It's also six clean sheets for the season now, one better than last season already. |

The best I've ever seen Tovide play. Payne, Edwards and McDonnell were the other stand out players for me. Also was probably Flanagan's best performance of the season as well. Great for Taylor and Bishop to get some minutes too and hopefully the whole team came through unscathed. I did think if you could pick how a team would setup against us at home you'd pick the back five that Swindon seemed to go with. It just seemed to invite Edwards and Gordon to play higher up the pitch and gave Payne plenty of space to play in. I see so much of Matt Jay in Payne that it's odd that he's figured in nearly every match this season and Jay has barely kicked a ball under four different managers. |

Looks like all three could be missing plus Edwards possibly. Hopefully some of them are fit enough to figure otherwise we'll be a bit light on Tuesday. |

Man City fans booed their team off last night. They've won about 20 trophies in the last 10 years. Some fans have very short memories. They must've all forgotten when they were in the third tier back in 1998/99 although most of them probably didn't support CIty then. |

Oldham, Southend the list goes on. There are other clubs, bigger than us, that have spent time outside the league in recent seasons. Oxford, Luton, Chesterfield, Stockport and Wrexham, Tranmere, Leyton Orient are some of them. |

After the last couple of matches I've paid extra attention to the views of the opposing fans. The consensus, both times, was that we were the better team and should've won comfortably. Interestingly both sets of fans seemed unhappy with their manager and recent performances by the team, This didn't really surprise me with Bradford as they are easily the biggest club in this division and should be right up there really. Grimsby fans being unhappy with Artell, some even saying he should be sacked, I found very surprising. As a club who has recently spent time out of the football league and had a bit of a relegation battle last season you would think they'd be pretty happy with where they find themselves right now. Is this just the general attitude of football fans these days? In that they have unrealistic expectations? Or has it always been like this and they just have more of a platform to voice it now? |

Does make you wonder why they kept playing him if he picked up an injury. |

I've watched this guy a few times and I normally quite enjoy his stuff. He was annoying me at the start of this one though but he came good in the end. Well worth a watch. |

But Tom Smith was exceptional. |

What you're saying is constructive and your opinion, one that is probably shared by many others, and opens up a debate. Calling Danny and Nicky the Chuckle Brothers have referring to them as PE teachers is both pointless and childish. It's not even like it's remotely amusing either. |

Is there a more difficult team to predict than Col U? I guess if you always predicted 1-1 you'd be doing pretty well but if you predict based on form or league position then Col U are pretty much guaranteed to trip you up. |

I believe there were problems on both the A12 and A120 yesterday afternoon/evening with the area around the stadium gridlocked which caused issues with the parking at the ground. |
