Agree with most of this and would add:

9. Defending Corners - what is the point of having Dembele or Chair (or Smyth or Saito) in the box defending? Get one or two of them on the halfway line as an out ball.

10. Stupid goalkick routine - Why? Nardi should either play it short or lump it forward. Why is the defender passing it to Nardi to receive it back again but now under pressure from the oppo striker?

We booked a "free" walking tour for the first morning - you tip the guide some Euro at the end of the tour. I can't remember the exact company we used but there are a few to choose from if you Google it.
The walking tour was very interesting and it also allowed us to spot places worth going back to later in the trip.
As mentioned before, try to pre-book a visit to the Reichstag building, which is free (I think) but extremely popular.
We actually really enjoyed the DDR museum (sorry Robith) but there are loads of other interesting museums too. It is an easy city to walk around.

Yes, the defence was good and Santos wasn't the car crash at RB that some were predicting a few weeks ago. I wish we wouldn't do that stupid goalkick routine and try to play our way out from the back though, especially without JCS or Morrison in the team.
Dembele showed flashes of brilliance and Colback worked really hard and covered back well.
Madsen and Andersen were just awful today. Frey did his best with no service and still looks better than Celar to me.

That's pretty much what I said in a previous post (page 85!)

Every article about Hayden that I have seen/read in the past year or so has said that:
a) He wants away so that he can play 1st team football
b) He is not wanted at Newcastle and will not get a squad number
c) Newcastle are JUST ABOUT to pay his contract up

And yet he is still there.

He signed his first pro contract last year (Jan 2023.) I have not seen anything signed since.

Isn't it strange that for years we have been complaining about our prospects being stolen from the academy by the PL teams (e.g. Sterling to Liverpool, Gunter to Spurs) and then we get all excited about Kolli NOT being poached and signing a pro contract with us. Only for 18 months down the line to find out he (allegedly) won't extend his contract and therefore we won't play him.
