Most EPL clubs who will be loaning players out will want players to join teams which are competitive in the Championship.
eg Gilchrist (Chelsea) at Sheffield United.

If we struggle against QPR and Luton then I can't any exciting signings happening for us.

Who will want to sign us for us in January?

The lack of experience on and off the pitch is the real concern.

Gude, Coleman and Luke all need support with people who know this division.

And if the recruitment strategy is strong then loan ratchet deals should not be an issue for us. Great loan players (eg Conor Gallager) play every game because they are better than what we have got - so there are no financial penalties.

A very good article.

And yes it is quite common to have financial clauses in the contract for loan players. There is usually a ratchet system in place.

eg 50% of weekly salary if they play
75% of weekly wage if they start on the bench.
100% of weekly wage if they are not in the matchday squad.

It is coming up to 12 months since Coleman appointed Williams.
Gude and Coleman must ask themselves - is the team moving in the right direction and if it isn't - why isn't it.

The Summer signings have made no impact at all. Questions need to be asked about recruitment and policy and the agencies we use.

And Watson claimed earlier this year at the forum that there was no process in place when he joined.
So many questions need asking....

Did he have a majority stake in the club? Didn't he join the Swans board thanks to David Morgan?
