I quite liked him, thought when he joined there was some potential there. But he seems to be going backwards and his defending is just getting worse and worse. Yesterday was absolutely horrific. At most optimistic perspective, he needs a rest at worst he needs to leave. Unfortunately neither is an option. |

This sounds like a cop out, but I'm sure the fact we had to drag the players out of bed early and up to north Wales, the day after Christmas day when none of them wanted to leave their families, probably didn't help. Barring Plymouth, Swansea away on boxing day is probably the one fixture we didn't want. Yes they are professionals, yes they are paid for this (very well) but mentally it only takes one or two of them to be at 90% instead of 100% and it's going to make a difference. |

I don't think your opinions are inflammatory, but I do think that the tone you convey them with is inflammatory and bordering on condescension. Your original post and this reply being cases in point. This is of course a free world. You are welcome to post with whatever tone you wish. |

If you think Marti is the problem with this club right now then I don't know what to tell you. He got it wrong today, he's got it wrong many times this year. But he's also had many occasions where he has got us playing above our ability level too. He's doing more good than bad. This idea that seems to be permeating our society where everyone or everything has to be in the "he's the best ever" or "he's the worst ever" bucket is crazy to me. Marti is a good manager. He's done more good than bad, if he wasn't here for one reason or another we'd be much more likely to get someone worse than someone better. On that basis, we should be happy he's here and be backing him. Don't think it has to be more complicated than that? |

Alright Paal I'm done. Get the fck out of my club. Useless. Second goal standing in no man's land just let the through ball go right past. Third goal lost his man. Can't tackle, can't control the ball. Whats the point? Send him off we might get better |

Headline feels like a bit of a stretch given that he's 22 already and the best back up to the claim is that he's had a few games with the Norwegian u21s. Still, let's hope he's good and if so that it's true. We've not done great in recruiting in this department for the last 30 years |

More bad than good so far in my book but deserves credit for sticking with Marti during a real tough path when some (not all) would have taken the easy option and fired him |

Anybody who thought we'd be in this position before christmas 6 weeks ago is lying. Full credit to everyone involved, from the players to Marti to the rest of the staff. And if we are being honest, the board for sticking with Marti (most felt the right decision but some trigger happy owners would have twisted there) |

Get in there. Absolutely deserved. Really encouraged how we have gone balls out for this. We are usually so passive once the other team goes down to 10. |

This is going to be painful for sure. Keeper starts it off by falling to the ground after catching a cross from chair that he didn't even break stride for |

Good for us obviously, but that was soft as fck as a second yellow, would be furious if that has been the other way |

I would say in my experience that alongside actual talent, willingness to take accountability (and learn from that mistake) is the number one difference between people who get promoted and people that don't. |

I'd agree. Never ever had an issue. In fact one time I made a last second decision to give my carry-on to my fiancee to take through immigration because she was an American and my line looked like it was going to be a couple of hours. I thought I had my passport in my pocket but turns out it was in the carry-on. They were pretty good about it and let me frantically wave and try and flag her down and bring it over once I finally got to the booth. Maybe it depends on the airport, but the big ones, DFW, ORD, JFK etc. It can be a nightmare getting through but that's more staffing levels rather than competence. Good luck Thames, and congrats. I have a great immigration lawyer if you need one and happen to be doing any of this from Chicago. |

Did not realize today was an early kick off. Woke up on about 80 minutes, disappointed that the game was nearly over. Thought we were the better team Sounds like I caught the only good 5 minutes. Even with an awful performance we are picking up points which is a great habit. |

If you are looking for how likely we are to win the next game etc, the work is already done for you. Bookies spend BILLIONS having more data than anyone else (hence Brighton/Brentford advantage in recruiting). Those odds and backing them into an applied probability, are the closest thing you're going to get to a prediction. Of course, football isn't a game played on paper... |
