| News Comment | Sulemana Linked To French Club at 15:39:56
I really hope not and certainly not at that price. If he goes now it will destroy what last remaining faith I have in our incompetent owner and his management. Surely given his recent form we would be better holding onto him at least until the summer. |

More gibberish from the man ultimately responsible for this debacle. Where is the new striker we have needed since before he took over. Sports Republic and our club are a laughing stock. |
| News Comment | Southampton V Newcastle United The Verdict at 11:03:10
I agree Saintmark, Sports Republic have shown themselves to be completely unsuitable for running our club. Still no sign of a good centre forward and we are almost at the end of the transfer wi Dow. In my view the PGMOL and it's officials are deeply corrupt pandering to the whims of just a few clubs. Cavanagh on VAR was an absolute disgrace, I agree with your analysis Nick, Aribo was fouled rather than the other way round. Ironically our women's team were also on the end of another dreadful officiating display with Molly Pike being pulled back when through on goal to give us an offside decision. I have to say I cannot remember less enjoying my football watching than this season. The combination of biased officiating, rotten luck, an inept manager and totally incompetent owners are sucking the joy out of the game. |
| News Comment | Southampton Close To Two New Signings at 11:30:09
Why are we not apparently trying to sign the Corinthians striker that we were supposed to be close to in the summer. Seems Sports Republic have still not learnt their lesson. |
| News Comment | Southampton At Nottingham Forest The Preview at 12:45:48
Any news on whether Dibling is fit ? What are Sports Republic playing at again, they should get in the Corinthians striker or someone similar for Sulemana to feed. More procrastination when action is required. |
| News Comment | Southampton Tout Sulemana To European Clubs at 13:46:10
You know my feelings, I think this would be a huge mistake. We at last appear to have a manager who believes in him and will encourage him to perform as he did in the cup. Should at least be given a chance with a decent strike partner. |
| News Comment | Southampton V Swansea City The Verdict at 11:01:07
I think Sulemana was by far our best player. He showed what he can do, albeit against a championship side. The question is, if he were a consistent starter and we had a reliable scoring centre forward, could he carry that form into the PL. I think he deserves the chance. Sports Republic need to get their finger out and sort out the second part of that but he appears to have the manager's confidence. Good to see Will Smallbone back but I thought he looked well off the pace and made at least one mistake that could have been costly in other company. Lets see what happens against United. We are well overdue some unbiased officiating and hopefully the win has done wonders for confidence. |
| News Comment | Southampton V Brentford The Verdict at 12:13:36
Sulemana was probably our best player in the first half although admittedly not a particularly high bar. He has also been more effective in terms of dangerous crosses than anyone else in the odd 10 minutes has been allowed but you appear far too blinkered to see this sadly. Totally agree with SanMarco and HythePeer. It seems to me that Sports Republic's total incompetence is largely to blame for our position, poor managerial appointments, poor recruitment and keeping Rasmus in charge. From what I saw the players are now totally dispirited and lacking in confidence. I do not subscribe to the view that the players are not good enough to survive in the PL. I think the above, some criminal officiating and the suicide tactics adopted by the previous manager are the reasons why we are where we are. Really hope Rasmus is sacked and we buy a decent striker in the window but not confident that SR have the balls and where with all to do either. |

Never mind another Defender what's happening regarding the Corinthian striker that we were in the frame for in the summer. Are Sports Republic watching different games to the rest of us. |
| News Comment | Southampton V Brentford The Preview at 11:37:33
Oh and BBD is not the answer, the fact he has never been on the winning side in a PL game tells you all you need to know. |
| News Comment | Southampton V Brentford The Preview at 11:34:35
Absolute claptrap Nick, in each of the last few games Sulemana has played he has crossed to create a scoring chance (one more than the rest of the team combined except KWP) though sadly they have been scorned by our strikers. Perhaps if he were given more than the odd 10 minutes he would create more. Ideally we should play Onachu and Archer together as the latter could feed off the formers hold up play. Fernandes is unavailable due to a sucession of biased referees who have failed to protect him whilst booking him for much less serious offences. |
