I was a bit disappointed to hear it, but it was (i think) directed at their players rather than fans following a couple of on field moments that riled fans somewhat. |

Today was something that we have seen oft this season against teams at the bottom, who stick 10 men behind the ball constantly, defend stoically and try for the odd chance on the break. See D&R for example. We have struggled to break such teams down. Aside from Beckwith occasionally- shots from distance are poor and attempts to play through falter. How to solve this problem is for next season however, if we don’t go up of course. If we make the playoffs we are unlikely to meet a team adopting such tactics. No injuries, another point towards the playoff goal, getting there. |

I hope there is no ‘going down’ chants to the visiting fans. They will already know, be fully aware, but will have travelled nonetheless to support their team. They should be recognised for their loyalty not pilloried. |

Special agent Odoh was a Wembley winner with Poshy Posh Posh today. Cieran Hayes on bench but no place for Nevitt in squad. Great performance against all conquering Birmingham and their 856K fans. |

Post match interview. Hogan out for the season. A blot on todays landscape sadly. |

1.7K John Mcleans today rewarded by a result few would have forecast. For first 10 minutes we were very much under the cosh as Eastleigh went offensive- as Aldershot know that’s not the way to play agsinst us. 3 assists for Tobi today, great performance. Say it quietly but EELs was awesome at the back, leader, encouraging, dominant in the air etc. A result that is as good for the head and heart as it is for the eyes on the league table. |

Corey Edwards starts, good luck young man. Wingbacks swapped out for Toby and Poku. Left footed Poku on the left one assumes. Rodney and Mitchell up top. |

Morale boosting result hoped for tonight. 1-0 win in the 98th minute would do nicely please, oh football gods. |

What’s done is done. Can’t change the past and the players will be hurting as much as each of the fans. Away game is possibly quite fortunate to take the minds away from Spotty. Bouncebackability required. 7 games to go. |

In post match interview Big Jim mentioned that he hoped Jay Bird would be in a better position for Sat alongside Hogan and Barlow. Good to hear. |

Would have been a great 3 points, shame about the foul - gifted equaliser. With a makeshift team we did ok, but as at Oldham and Southend couldn’t get the second. Woking naturally threw players up front and long balled it, no criticism of that - it’s an effective tactic when chasing a game. Coped well with that until the pen. EELs i thought was great tonight. Gilmour stood out too. |

Expecting a few changes following Sat knocks but going off latest club update - only Waller and East flagged as long term injuries. Beckwith half time sub with a bit of a hammy is a concern Holden subbed after an assist of sorts for Hendo’s goal equally a concern Kingdom and Eels natural swaps for each of those but then a bit thin for the bench in defensive terms. Berger and Barlow also took knocks late on. Few more options here but East/Berger spot possibly more troublesome to fill. Hopefully all minor knocks that a couple of days physio will have eased - |
