House/flat buying advice please 12:45 - Sep 5 with 6869 views | johann28 | Spending the 'international break' weekend looking at flats to buy, and am increasingly noticing the agents putting 'offers over...' on their bumf, which I find even more irritating than 'guide price'. Does this actually mean that they won't accept an offer below the price stated or is it just agents' spin?
House/flat buying advice please on 12:57 - Sep 6 with 1155 views | TheBlob | Estate agents are cheating, conniving khunts. When we sold they tried to get us to accept a ludicrously low offer which we found out was made by one of their mates and they'd resell and split the difference. We f*cked him off out of it because we'd done comparison research and we got eighty grand more. Doyour research, see what neighbours' houses go for,and above all visit the property several times on different times to see if it's got arseole neighbours, parking problems etc. Above all don't trust agents - put in cheeky bids wherever possible, they can only say no... innit.
