Of course we can stay up. After United, we don't have any of the top 4 left to play, but we have all the teams at the bottom still to play. We need to get some wins, but we have a lot of games left that we can win. Stoke, Wigan, Sunderland at home are all massive, Fulham, Reading and Southampton away too.

Looking unlikely now given the 6 point gap and our lack of goals. Mind you Blackburn pulled 6 points clear last season towards the end and then sank like a stone.
We are certainly tougher to beat and have stopped conceding goals but where are the wins going to come from?

I refer you to the reply The Right Dishonorable MelakaRanger gave earlier on in this thread at 01:55 February 3rd and can only say I agree completely with his sentiments.

Call me a flip-flopping,ever-vascillating,U turning, straw in the wind but I'm much heartened, buoyed and swayed by the 13 out of 27 of my fellow LFW punters on this thread who as of 7amish Sunday think we can still do it and therefore I duly withdraw my earlier reply and..

£8m seems a lot for a player (jolly good when he is on form) that has admitted he isn"t on point at the moment. Oh well, in Arry we trust right?
What else can we do now? Not many managers will take on a job without having a transfer window to change the team shape.
With Remy out and Zamora still not fully fit, the Cisse loan looks like a seriously ordinary bit of business. Still, a lot of pluses from yesterday: Samba and Townsend are promising; another clean sheet; etc.
So, back to the OP: yes we can still do it, and yes, I'm not letting go that we still will.
Come on, everbody, management, team, fans: dig deep.
