Noticed from Morecambe site that Redshaw is back from injury. Does he still hate us for doing fook all to him, or has he calmed down and come off the crack?
On their forum there was a report from their Fun Day; they didn't train on the pitch as it was waterlogged in some areas. Now that might mean a bit damp in reality, but more rain overnight tomorrow too.
Actually the cheapest train fare from Rochdale to Morecambe (return) is £18.30
You simply buy TWO return tickets at the same time aka Martin Lewis splitting train tickets (you can stay on same trains):-
Rochdale-Bolton (return) = £3.90 Bolton-Morecambe (return) = £14.40 TOTAL = £18.30 (saving a whopping £2.40)
If you do this you have to travel on a train that stops at Bolton not just goes through it, otherwise the tickets are not valid. Might seem obvious, but you can get caught out if you do not check.

I once asked a ticket collector about this when trying to find the cheapest way from Littleborough to somewhere like Leeds.
Littleborough to Walsden return followed by Walsden to Leeds return was the most economical, but the ticket man said we couldn't do it.
So I asked him, "What if I get off at Walsden, stand on the platform and then get back on, therefore having broken my journey?"
He couldn't be bothered thinking of an answer.
Obviously this option isn't possible if the train doesn't stop!
When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?
Apparently snow is heading to Morecambe i hope there doing in everything in their power to get this game on if not have a Plan B in place
Game rumoured to be in doubt according to the Morecambe forum listed above, inc. some bloke from the illustrious Morecambe Visitor on twitter who has seen the pitch. Rain this evening then sunshine and showers is the forecast at the moment.

Any comments from Nigel Watson?

"No one has said anything so presume it is on unless u hear otherwise."
Looks like Game On just Morecambe Fans Scaremongering
They're looking at the forecast and the fact the pitch wasn't able to be trained on. Hardly scaremongering. Definitely in doubt unless the forecast is wrong, which can happen of course.
Nothing coming from Morecambe officially yet (their website hasn't been updated since Thursday), but it's chucked it down all night according to their forum.
