Whilst I hope beyond hope that they do sign, the pessimist in me can't help but wonder why top quality players would move to a small, struggling Prem club when presumably they have far more glamorous alterantive options. If it's purely money, then when the chips are down are they going to be the ones putting themselves on the line like, say, Derry, Hill and Mackie (and our Champs squad generally)? |  |
