it seems some sort of deal has been made reducing the overall loses which include infrastructure expenditure.

Extract

{The club received what they described as "exceptional gains" of £18.4m, a significant proportion of which - £12m - came from litigation claims made by the club.

Cardiff City Supporters' Trust chair and chartered accountant Keith Morgan said in relation to the above in a statement: "The only matter that I believe this can relate to is the club’s long running legal claim for damages against FC Nantes arising from the tragic death of Emiliano Sala in 2019.}

They have sold the potential legal gain from the court case, but have not disclosed the purchaser.........

That of course helps the figures for EFL P and S.

The issue is therefore satisfactorily resolved for them in that case.. ( while never forgetting the tragic loss of life).

Dr P told us the issue was done and dusted two years ago and Cardiff would never get any compensation. He was very wrong as usual.

UK is a business capital and very strong on insurance. A settlement of as been made which is good. Hopefully Nantes and Cardiff have come to an agreement.

Interest to see their total debt has risen.
They owe Tan £68 million and Torman Finance £37 million an increase of £11 million on last year.
Total debt now £105 million.

These seem to just about kept inside the EFL 3 year loss limit with a bit of creative accountancy? an "exceptional Gain" of £18 million.

Poll: Sholud Wales rollout vaccination at full speed.
