Well firstly he got stuck in more. I know that should be a given for a professional player but it was an improvement on what we’ve seen before. Then he also played some decent passes, think he only lost it once and kept the play moving. Morgan just runs around like a bit of a headless chicken for me and we lost our shape.
Madsen I thought had one of his better games for sure. Definitely good signs to come just needs to settle. The performance was a positive, just need a ounce of luck and the draws will turn into wins. In regards to Morgan, he was brought on as a “10” to try and create something but also his energy, and pressing, no one else does that or covers the distance he does. Wasn’t his best game for sure but we have to remember he’s just 18 and he’s a holding midfielder not a 10. Look at Sunderland at home, Morgan and Varane had over 70/80 touches of the ball each and completely dominated Jobe and Co. That’s the partnership from a footballing perspective,a defensive and strong player in Varane who’s improved loads lately and then Morgan from what I’ve seen in the holding midfield area is up there with one of the best passers on the team when playing in his natural position. As someone said earlier , field only had 30 odd touches (hiding) never gonna dominate games with them stats, look at the stoke holding midfielder, over 90!. We will be fine, hopefully 3 points on Wednesday.
One positive (ahem) I have seen is a table from 12 months ago after 16 games where we had 10 points.
So in a way we are ahead of last season...
Albeit we had 2 wins, but Wendies only had one at this point and they still stayed up.
Here's hoping etc...
In other positives (ahem)Jan age fjortoft failed to score until after Christmas when he signed for Swindon for a club record fee but then got 13 goals in last 17 games
If winter is the only season of the year in which we are going to be discontent, that's hugely positive and simply wonderful news
I was expecting spring to be as utterly miserable as this autumn has been.
Ah, there's my taxi now
"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Just watched Marti’s pre Cardiff interview. If the earlier rumour on here turns out to be true, he’ll soon have a nose longer than Pinocchio! ( or maybe someone on here will instead!)
And has perhaps said that Marti has been sacked/resigned/left the training ground looking a bit upset so often on his ITK Twitter account that he can’t realistically do so again, even to that audience.
So pop it on here anonymously instead then refer back to it over there with some distance applied in case it’s bolox again.

I've used this gag before...
'Cifuentes Leaves Club By Mutual Consent... every day when he finishes work'.
'What do we want? We don't know! When do we want it? Now!'

As I put earlier...like shooting fish in a barrel. They'll hit one eventually then crow about it for ages, ignoring all the bullets gathered at the bottom.

He sounds different. Almost more upbeat and more like his old self. I liked what he said about Celar too.
Marti. Really want him to push through and get the ship/(tugboat) righted. As per the message board today...by some miracle he IS getting POS returns from at least HALF of the NINE newcomers....who have never played in an English league and probably are having all kinds of growing pains. As it is, three (or 4 if you count KD) of those (Ashby, Morrison, Morgan) ..who at least came through the ranks are some of those bright sparks.

I put their continued rapid growth down to Marti.
And Nardi and Saito. I like Varane too but think I’m in a minority.

Imagine the growth if we had real and proper championship experience around them. It's what we don't have that's more the issue and the fact we spent a chunk of our transfer budget on two players that have zero experience in this division.
