Starting the long journey to the European capital of football and wanted a positive thread to keep the spirits up. For me discodroid always entertains. Fantastic way with words. Dorse always good value. Hunter for his certainty and not sure who it was but there was a poster who described what must have been epic QPR fictional battles of the 70''s and 80's. Your thoughts?

I am also Brian being from the Motherland and all that lol. I think we all should have to show our face so we can see what everybody unless that is a huge invasion of privacy or the internet could not handle it .

...or erm, the shocking revelation of toothless, wispy headed dribbling old farts.
Brian - For his calm measured responses & his music threads Disco - His own unique style. Makes me laugh Clive - For his wise words, his summing up of the mood every week, and for keeping this all going

Thanks for the kind words and yes that was me on the old dotorg back in the 90s and 2000's and Middlesbrough did break me this week, I'm very worn down by the club at the moment
So many great posters on here, Brian, Hunterhooop, Clive, Antti and Simmo stand out but too many to mention even the ones I don't agree with its always worth hearing an alternative opinion
I agree with all of these too. Interesting and informed opinions generally sane and often funny they're, after Clive, the backbone of this site.
I also always enjoy Dorse and Danny Paddox for numerous LOL moments.
Wouldn't leave out the tons of regulars - too many to mention individually who keep this site going with their views and knowledge of not just football but a huge range of other subjects.

Well put as ever, Nix.
Far, far too many intelligent and decent skins on here to single out any one, and more with every passing year.
I think the site's got even funnier as well. So many ridiculously clever and funny posters.

Just came on to put a shout out for nix - and there you were right on cue.
You save me a lot of posting time, as literally 99% of what you write could be me speaking (eg here). Verges on spooky, I sometimes wonder if I unknowingly registered a second account and have also been posting as nix whilst in some otherworldly state.
BklynRanger Is the poster I appreciate the best, easily the funniest poster on here by a Country mile, knows his football too and Is a good bloke to meet.
So many good posters from the old rivals days gone missing, Harkouks, Harlesden, Sharpy, Real_Loftus, Son Of Strange and of course the brilliant Rodneysgongger, all mad as f uck whether on here or In the Crown and Sceptre after a game.

There are almost too many to mention, but I would add the following to the list of those already flagged up: - Digswell: Gets us talking about lots of topical issues - Nix: Intelligent and thought provoking posts - Stainrod's Elbow: If only we could find some way of injecting your white hot passion for the club into our lazier players - Gary Haddock: The Hooters revelation about Brian and I was inspired and cracked me up - The friendly posters on here who support Fulham, Brentford, Millwall, Sunderland etc: I really appreciate your views, I feel that your alternative perspectives stop us from becoming too self obsessed.
A big thank you to all of you for the ton of content which appears on here, both about Rangers and about other stuff. The pandemic, working from home and then redundancy took their toll on me - and many others - but you lot kept me connected, informedand entertained .
"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

I think the fact that there are so many weird, funny, messed up, thoughtful, well considered, jumped up, decent, dangerous, generous, unhinged, stable, off the wall, doom ridden, happy clappers on this forum supporting this team of consistently underperforming so called footballers masquerading as professional sportsmen.
Well it kind of explains a lot !!!!
As you need to be all of the above to follow this team !!!
This forum is the online expression of that and always makes me smile.... 😁
All I can say is the amount of nice posts after my dad passed and after I had my stroke were truly amazing, I'm a miserable, argumentative old focker sometimes, but I love you all.....apart from ....only joking

Agree with that Connell
Three years ago lost both parents and the forum were all decent.

For services to diplomacy and love of his fellow man 😆
G. Haddock A new poster, but somehow seems like he/ she has been posting for years on here under a different username. All good. Welcome capt Haddock. Or is that Red Rackem?

You're in luck Ted, well sort of....
Raspberry Blonde are playing at The Forester in West Ealing on Saturday 23rd November after the Stoke home game due to unpopular demand and either playing or in attendance are most of the nutters you've mentioned........

Wow you really have some time on your hands ‘Gary’. The traditional cut and paste job always says a lot more about the poster I think 🤔 And it’s always good to see a ‘new poster’ engage so much on here.
On the other side of the coin LFW has numerous great contributors which make this site a must read. It would be boring if everyone just agreed on everything the whole time.

Loads of great posters on here and a great community.
Particular shout outs to the Frankie Boys who have all become great pals - LBlock and paulparker - aka Statler and Waldorf - up there on the balcony (every season we are doomed by October) but their love of our club cannot be denied. Our overseas contingent - silky (NZ), FredManRave (Argentina) and Leon (Auz) Plus merseyhoop, Brixton/QPsyR (with his three day weekends!), W13, londonscottish, PunteR, westberksr and of course Disco.
Our love of QPR and dance music is our glue.
I have met many others from here too - rollercoaster (FFP guru and voice of reason) terryb (voice of reason 2.0) ,ngbqpr (another font of musical knowledge), hubble and several infrequent posters (or lurkers )
