Good piece Keith.

You state you have faith in Luke Williams and I’m still in that camp with you but the optimism in his ability as a coach wanes as each game passes. Why? Because nothing changes.

I watched the Sheffield Wednesday game yesterday. Yes, Plymouth were not on top form for sure but to say that was the reason Wednesday won so easily would be churlish. From the kick off they went forward. Always looking forward. So the question I’d love to see answered (but of course can’t) is if Luke Williams had that exact same team would he play the same way as they did . If the answer is yes, then you’d have to ask the question is he under some sort of directive to play the way we do. That’s almost in conspiracy theory territory.

Are Sperm Whales the reason the sea is so salty?

Ey oop.mucker
Well, being President of the DAG and Naysayer in Chief,it’s my duty to be cynical and sardonic .
I dint share the Guv’s optimism whatsoever and see nothing at all to get excited about with his appointment ,which for me was plain misguided .
I hope I’m wrong but he ain’t the guy that will take us forward ,but they’re again neither are these owners . Meanwhile,we simply hope .

It’s no good Williams analysing games if it’s not manifested on the field of play

And yes,I’ve felt the same about previous coaches ,though I did love Paulo

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not

Team selection for the U21s today may give a clue to tomorrow's squad.

Lots of teams are now playing fast up tempo football, wingers getting crosses into the strikers, like Spain in the Euros.

We have the ammunition let's hope we use it, and agree about Wednesday they blew Plymouth away

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

I missed the game. I have a soft spot for Wednesday but dislike Plymouth

Have to agree. We are in the same territory as many times before.

Gillingham will come out with all guns blazing.

I saw the second half and Wednesday did play well, moved the ball quickly, got it out wide quickly to create 1 v 1’s, players driving forward through midfield, a different team to last year on that showing albeit first game. I thought Plymouth were shockingly bad, their body language was awful with Whittaker being one of the worst if not the worst on the pitch. The manager came out in the press with some strong words about the performance but is it just the Rooney factor showing itself early

I caught some glimpses of them on the EFL show - they look a decent attacking side to be fair . This will not be an easy game.
