Qatar VAR cock-up 20:25 - Nov 30 with 2626 viewsturnthescrew

France had a goal disallowed in their game against Tunisia, meaning that Tunisia won 1-0.

FIFA rules clearly state that disallowing a goal by means of VAR cannot be permitted after the game has re-started, which in this case it had.

Fortunately the outcome didn't affect who qualified from the group as Australia won their game.

Just imagine if any of the teams had been denied qualification....... and what will FIFA now do about the VAR decision being wrongly implemented after the kick-off?

Bloody useless.

The most ridiculous thing was he was clearly offside on the first replay alone yet they waited so long. Wasn’t even noticed on commentary either.

Poll: Greatest Ever Dale Game

I thought the Messi VAR penalty was a bit dodgy too. At least the keeper saved it

Can't get upset about France being on the wrong end of a disputed decision. I still remember Thierry Henry handballing the ball back into play, wrong-footing one Paul McShane, to put France through at Ireland's expense.

[TVOS will correct any inaccuracies here - memory not being what it was].
