First time I have had the pleasure of seeing him in the flesh today and, my word, he is absolutely mustard! Really looking forward to watching him and Chair take it to teams this season.

I think he could be the difference in going for a play-off place this season. He's a very different style of player to Eze but I think he also has the ability to be an absolute superstar. I thought he looked different class at the tail end of last season and I think he may well single handedly tear quite a few teams apart on his own this season.

Never knowingly right.

Him and Chair are going to be painful for quite a few teams this season. Both look very confident and capable.

The double teaming and bringing in Wallace was simply poetry in motion today. They are all starting to be on each others wavelength now. I think Willock and Chair and a perfect foil for each other. I think has also taken some pressure of Chair to try to step into Eze's shoes, instead he is playing like himself now.

I was also even more impressed by seeing him in the flesh... I feel like he has looked better pretty much every time he's played since making a debut and yes, him and Chair dovetailing together is an exciting prospect going into this season

Did Willock look like he's bulked up a bit over the break? I was one of those who worried he was a bit lightweight when he first arrived. But no more. He's not only a delight with the ball at his feet but he's strong in possession and pacey with it as well.

Massive kudos to our recruitment guys for identifying an absolute gem.

He was lightweight when he arrived, he did not do very much overall actually and was a passenger on many occasions and struggled generally, hence why he was not used a lot, perhaps understandable but also disappointing. However, over the first 3 months of him being here he improved and became a far better player and played frequently performing to a decent standard and worth his place.

Yesterday I thought he was in great form, a thorn in the United side (along with a few of our boys), seems to have become very confident 'on the ball' using it very well in tight area's. Could be a big asset to us this year and fair play to hm.

Best player on the pitch yesterday. That backheel assist for the 4th goal

I think Banfield had a big role to get Willock here. They know each other from their Arsenal days

Nailed on he will be our next big sale. The boy's a bit special.

I think it might be Chair who we sell next. He just gets through so much work, sets things up and is the engine for the forward players. Quick, skillful, confident and inventive. Could do well in the Prem, Spain or Italy.

He started being tracked after his Stevenage stint by a few sides, but think he was still learning and most of the attention was focused on Eze. Last year was first time we started to see him without Eze and before Christmas I think he was trying to carry the team and perhaps plat the Eze role. But he didn't have quite the degree of quality around him and made quite a few wrong choices with the ball. After the improvements in the squad since Christmas I think the pressure has lifted from and he has been able to play a role that suits him much more. The building up of that understanding with Willock is really notable.

His international call up was recognition of his progress last year and would have put him onto other scouts radar - being a Belgian passport holder he can play in Europe and that is probably a factor which may seem him move abroad.

Blox.

Keep them both.

Sell Todd Kane for £13m. Job done.

Can we go out yet?

Seems the family have talent

His brother Joe was very good for Newcastle on loan but I think Arsenal want keep him now.

I know there is a much younger brother. Think he at a club but not know where.

But we seem to be pulling a few gems.

Dickie Dykes Willock and Johansen for 600k.

Yesterday the performance from Odabajo.

Clearly the training sessions but understanding the players mentalities also.

Best team and squad in my time was the early 90s Ferdinand Sinton Wegerle Wilkins etc but I know should not say it this lot are HOT...

One more thing about Willock. At the end of the match he was absolutely furious with himself for not keeping the ball in when we were putting them under a bit of pressure. He was swearing away at himself. Bearing in mind it was a pre-season friendly he's clearly very competitive and has high standards of himself.

They’ve clearly had him in the gym working hard on his upper body strength since he arrived. They did the same with BOS. Makes it very difficult to simply lean in and shove them off the ball in tight areas

I’ve liked Willock since he first played for us and as mentioned above I feel like his has improved game on game. He had so much momentum going into the summer and he seems to have come back with it and looking physically stronger. Twitter was on fire with promotion chat on Saturday. I think we will have the most enjoyable season in a while but, if players like Willock and Chair can continue to develop to another level it could get us into promotion levels IMO.

What a second half tonight. Absolutely outstanding. He’s got pace, he works his socks off, great touch, can go past people, pick a pass. Goodness me what a talent he is.

He’s the type that just needs to see the ball because things happen. Play him anywhere. And give him the ball.

Amazing signing.

He is our most talented player, yep better than Chair or JoJo.
Also under the radar at the moment so, we could keep him for the whole season.

zzzzzzzzzz

I'm been very impressed by his attitude and progression. The club appears to have unearthed a real gem. If he keeps learning and working hard, the football world's his oyster.

If his brother is worth £25 million then I would hope we can get something similar for Chris in the future.

Although of course I very much hope he'll be with us for next season back in the Premier League.

There are 3 bros as you have indicated Numpty.
Matty, the eldest brother, plays for Salford and he was on show when they played WRDC last week.

Joe the youngest now play for Newcastle who just got him from Arse for several millions

And our very own Chris who for me is the classiest. he can dribble without getting fouled as often as Grealish.

Can't wait to see him and the Rsssssss at the Madjeski against the fakes on the 11th Sept
