Nah I watched the documentary on the Anniversary of Dunkirk, and comments from survivors ......and felt physically sick hearing their accounts and listening /watching the antics of the pile of shyte of a cabinet we have now.

I am sure my father who died 19 years ago Tomorrow would be quite , well shall i say angry at what we have too put up with Today.

It's the 40 anti-Tory Tory MPs that want him sacked that you do wonder about.

There are ‘anti Tory’ Tory MPs, ‘anti Tory‘ Tory ministers, well known lefty publications like the Mail, lefty commentators like Julia Hartley Brewer, Iain Dale.

There are ‘anti Tory‘ Tory voters, ‘Remoaner losers’ who actually supported Brexit.

The list of all these bleeding heart liberals is almost endless. You can see them all outside Cummings’ ‘anti Islington elite‘ large townhouse in Islington. The same house where masses were causing a dangerous atmosphere at the height of lockdown (none of whom saw him leave with his family after packing up his car by the way - should get their eyes checked - maybe a 60 mile drive would do it), causing him to drive to his father’s ‘anti elite‘ small estate with at least 3 houses for all his ‘anti elite‘ family surrounded by their ‘antI elite’ private woodlands.

Same here, I can remember stuff from 20 years ago but ask me what I had for dinner last Thursday - blank.

Maybe so but I doubt if anyone made as much fuss about your tea as Cummings has faced for his actions.

It's hardly the same. Some moments become fixed points in your memory. Specially when you've spent days concocting a story to fit the facts.

For example, May 11 1985. I'd left the Vetch and walked to the Clarence where I watched the news. It's a hard day to forget. Valley Parade.
Ot how about Rotherham, Terry Coles, I was quite drunk but I remember a lot about that day yet I have trouble remembering my wedding anniversary.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

I can’t imagine the likes of Cummings can even take a dump without letting his security team know so the notion that nobody can remember the details of his journey is complete fantasy.

They left London because they were worried about both having coronavirus

but it was ok to travel, because his wife didn't have coronavirus

The exemptions to the lockdown rules that protect vulnerable children from abusive adults in their household apply to the Cummings.

Cummings had 10 days where he didn't get out of bed, because he was dogo, except for the time he drove to a hospital to pick up his wife and son.

He's so important to the government, he had to get back to London to work.

he's not important enough for them to send a car to pick him up.

he's not important enough to ask for extra scrutiny at his London home.

The rules say before breaking lockdown to safeguard a child, you must make every effort to stay at home within the rules. He admitted on Sunday he made NO effort to find local childcare because it was already available 260 miles away.

Shapps said that Cummings stayed in one place once in Durham. He either lied or was lied to.

He broke lockdown to test his eyesight, but Gove said yesterday his eyesight was fine and he was travelling to exercise, but cummings said he didn't do any exercise because he felt ill, but he was ok to drive because he wasn't ill.

The Prime Minister and cabinet are defending the above positions

Good point, being Bpjo's SPAD, I wonder if he has a tracker on his car? His mobi has GPS for sure.
The mobi thing, I get monthly updates about my activity (is it google) that tells me where I've been over the last month. Surely Bojo's SPAD would have a phone smart enough for that? If he has a government approved 'safe' phone surely there would be a secure tracker on there in case of emergency?

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

In 2017 Cummings said ... "Tory MP's do not care about poor people or NHS."

‘The Tory party is run by people who basically don’t care about people like me.’

“That is what most people in the country have thought about the Tory party for decades. I know a lot of Tory MPs and I am sad to say the public is basically correct. Tory MPs largely do not care about these poorer people. They don’t care about the NHS. And the public has kind of cottoned on to that.”

Of course they know exactly where he was at all times.

But you won’t get them admitting it.

It doesn’t matter.

By his own accounts, he broke lockdown 5 times.

- he went back to work after seeing his symptomatic wife
- he drove 260 miles with a symptomatic person for no reason (his use of safeguarding exemptions designed to cover abusive homes is sickening)
- his wife, after showing symptoms three or four days before, went to a hospital (Specifically against rules) and stayed overnight
- he drove to the hospital while infected
- he drove for no reason to a beauty spot when you weren’t allowed to do so on his wife’s birthday

Anyone who is defending him is an absolute arse.

Btw - do you reckon he was telling you the truth about brexit?

They'll have to change Downing streets name depending on the outcome, it's either going to be Rorke's drift avenue or Alamo drive.

Has Starmer spoken out about this? He should have been on BBC breakfast and any news show he could get on calling Bojo and Cumminsg out for this and lets be fair, he'd have massive public support. Apparently a poll (and I don't trust polls but anyway) 71% of respondees said Cummings should go because of this.

Starmer is doing exactly the right thing.

He’s a lawyer. He knows damn well that when the accused is digging his own grave the last thing you do is interrupt him.

Once Starmer says anything, the right wing press make him the story. By saying nothing, they can’t.

But haven't the accused already dug their own graves, and climbed in? Isn't now the time for Starmer to start burying them?

If us plebs on here can tear holes in Cummings fairy tale Starmer should be able to shred it completely.

I've never hated a person/politician as I now hate Johnson. Never used to, in fact quite liked him.

I voted Brexit, partly based on the lies orchestrated by the 'Axis of Evil' of him and Cummings.

And now again he has been the wrong person in the wrong position, in the wrong place at the wrong time. Posh voice....tick, Eton ...tick...Oxford...tick..Part of a posh private members club at Oxford (who are slated by other Oxford students, as being a rule unto themselves) tick.

Usually i couldn't care less, it's how the world goes around, certainly in the UK. At least with most of them there is a semblance of being a capable politician , leader and Prime minister, with Boris though it is all bluster and very little substance.

His attitude and inability at the beginning of this virus/pandemic stunk of arrogance. The axis of evil again had other matters that they deemed to be more important and for an island nation our figures are heart breaking. Those Cobra meetings missed, displays the arrogance and attitude from the start.

I'd even forgive that though as this virus has caught the world out (well some of it) and playing a political game seems almost unfair.

But along came this latest debacle and well...I don't think I have ever been so incensed with politics, politicians and as I said at the beginning of my reply hatred.

I can't believe what I'm hearing, reading and watching from Johnson, Cummings and the cabinet in general. At every level it is wrong on a massive scale and worst of all they are too fuc*ing arrogant to feel the frustration, pain and now understandable hatred that people feel towards them.

Aye, good timing can keep this debacle simmering in the eyes (and minds) of the public. Every dumb/venal thing this government does needs highlighting. A better informed public can hold governments to account.

It is far better to grasp the universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring. - Carl Sagan
