The better, younger players are being rested or are injured (Matt Smith, Harry Wilson, Ethan Ampadu etc.).

This is a League One level B team, not the young prospects.

Even with those three mentioned, there's a real lack of quality young players who are already playing top flight football consistently. Brooks is the only one I can think of.

It's like a league one game.. I'd like to see that Rabbi Matondo given a run out

A Rabbi playing football, what will they think of next. Could have a themed party ‘Tarts and Rabbis’

Only one thing more dire than international football, and that’s international friendlies.

We've always struggled to get enough top flight players full stop, let alone young ones.

Desperately lacking quality in depth.
Much like the Swans (due to poor investment) and the commentary on S4C unfortunately.
Hartson's brand is being dented with this regular foray.
For fluent welsh speakers from the south, the gog accent is almost incomprehensible. Hartson unfortunately is falling into the trap of trying to mimic them. Oh dear.

Trinidad and Tobago, this game has made me do a quick Wikipedia search on Jason Scotland.
45 goals in 90 appearances for the Swans.
Those feel good factor moments were the best.
Let’s see if we can find someone who can replicate that for us next season and get us up off our seats again.

My methods are not favoured by some but by god i speak the truth.

Declan John is only 23?! Thought he was a good few years older. Could be a player in there somewhere

At least with Ben Davies and Connor they look to get forward and behind the defences. Taylor and Gunter offer nothing but backward and sideway passes.

At least put Harry Wilson on,or I am off to iron my underpants.

He is, like some others in this team, chronically risk averse. Probably from playing so long in negative teams and at levels where he's one of the worst players on the pitch (see his time in the PL).

He's decent running with a ball at his feet when he tries it.

Undeserved that. Feel for them.

Sgor, I genuinely feel it would have been more entertaining to watch Bala play Barry than that load of old toss. The quality would have been similar, and it would have been more entertaining.

Ask UEFA. You aren't allowed to leave an international date empty now like Cookie preferred with his get togethers. The Racecourse was due a game, and the Lawrence link made that easier, don't think many teams would have fancied going to Wrexham on a Wednesday before a qualifier.

So can't blame Giggs for risking anyone.

That said, I'm not convinced Giggs is the man, i suppose we'll see Sunday.

Agreed. It was like watching paint dry. Pathetic skill levels. I lasted 10 minutes and turned back to ITV for ‘The Bay’.

On Elis James podcast last week he basically said that he'd used his 1st 9 games to try stuff out. Whether that is true I have my doubts or was it an excuse for the indifferent form. We'll see.

Wtf do people expect, these games are for our next band of players, give them a chance ffs.

And you wonder why the faw dont want to take a game to the liberty with patriots like our lot.
