Not a regular poster, but could I have a match thread for my birthday, please??
Turning 40 today, which probably could have been a minor depression.
But got up this morning to a surprise from my girlfriend:
Tickets to London for the weekend. At the airport now and she just showed me tickets for tomorrows game as well. Amazing - and she doesn't even care about football. Can't ask for more, but would really like to have 3 points as well :)
See you at HQ (haven't been there for more than a year, so excited)!!

We had more shots +1 but only 4 to their 9 on target, which has been a problem most of the season but a poor performance all over the team. |  |

Just got back and really wasn't a freak game...we were way off the pace and made forest look great when they weren't. Was a really bad performance, though for once the final third was the positive. Midfield was invisible and our defending was dreadful. | | | |

7 Goal thriller, 2 QPR goals in one game I don't know what people are complaining about. TBH we were over run in midfield, especially poor from all three today, especially Scowen and Freeman was barely any better. Once Bidwell & Lynch went off it was only ever going to go one of two ways. Tactics were poor throughout. Smith needs too many chances to score to be an effective goalscorer. Washington was completely anonymous once he came on, I would have thought BOS would have been a better sub. Eze looks like an asset. Costly Pantyliner should have been sent off for timewasting, he began in the 4th minute of the game FFS. I can't imagine the club ill be getting rid of IH irrespective of what happens between now the next season so, IMVHO, suck it up and move on to the next game. BTW we looked good for the first 30 minutes without looking a threat. |  |

We play every team the same way, irrespective of their strengths and weaknesses. Sometimes we eke out a win. Usually because, man-for-man, we're better than the other lot. Very occasionally we win against a better club, because they haven't prepared well. Generally this happens early in the season and they aren't fooled twice. |
