That's not the point though. My point is companies aren't legally allowed to discriminate against customers. Irrelevant if the company are happy with it or not. As in the case of hotel owners who didn't want gay couples staying and were prosecuted as a result. Surely this is similar, obviously there are differences but I think it's appalling that a company has staff that won't serve its customers due to religious reasons. |

It just seems strange that a Muslim won't sell Alcohol in the UK where it is legal to sell and buy alcohol yet I have been served Alcohol by Muslims in Muslims countries, Egypt and Maldives where it is supposed to be banned. | |

Aldi's tweets about the issue said something about them looking to accommodate if staff members have concerns about aspects of their job.
