Only just joined here lads but I have read the site regular and have seen all the debates and all the criticism Huw Jenkins has received etc. But credit where it's due surely he has redeemed himself with the success of his January Transfers and the prices he has paid for them. Every 1 person on here slated Tom Carrol , Jordan Ayew, Martin Olsssen, and 1 or 2 others but look how well they have done. Who would have picked Alfie Mawson ?? He was slated too. Would you swap him back for Ash now ? Him and Fernandez are rock solid and will only improve next year . Football is all about opinions and I just feel he needs to be cut some slack . I'm pretty sure he went on to the Americans and said ' look get rid of Bradley I've got to live in this city and it's not working ' It's been a really difficult season on and off the field and 1 where we need to learn from mistakes . The transfer window last January was crazy prices and it's easy to make rash decisions. Imagine we bought 3 players at £15million like Baston and they didn't work out . We would be doomed. Our market is the average premier league player valued up to £7 million max . Mid table for swans is punching above our weight . We look a decent side now and fingers crossed I'm sure we will be fine and normal service to resume next year.

I don't think we should have ever sold to the Americans myself. When the club was bought from Tony Petty one of the biggest things was that it was now run by Swansea City supporters and they were not in it to make money out of us.
I couldn't understand why they would sell out and lose all that we had gained. But in the OP defense: It looked like the Americans had pushed to get Bob Bradley in. That is the main reason why we got into this mess. I think that without that happening and if they had got a better more capable manager at the time, we'd probably be a very safe mid table position right now.
The signings they made are looking good and Llorente has been scoring crucial goals. Whether or not pockets have been lined, my concern is how do we know for certain that if they resign, leave or whatever, that we will definitely be run better?
We haven't even survived yet, but if we do, it is looking like Clement is a capable manager, whatever players go in the transfer window, if he can make some really good new signings, next season could be a good one.
Let's just concentrate on survival for now I say...

I believe Jenkins took his eye off the ball and hit the jackpot picking up £7mill or whatever . I would have done the same . He didn't owe us anything. No one would have cared if he lost his house when he put money ( along with others) to save Swans. So don't begrudge him and be jealous. He should have a Statue
And you were so close to almost being taken seriously

My post is aimed at the football side . There are shady ppl in every business . I'm trying to say I think he's redeemed himself as DOF in finding the bargain players e.g. Mawson and the January buys.
The football side is not separate from the business side.

"I'm sure he went to the Americans"
Like fúck the did. He took it up the Gary to maintain his 500k salary. All parties have tarnished what should be god like status
Some people just don't get it. Some people care, some people don't. If only one person cares and will constantly remind him, that's good enough. Whatever happens and whatever happens to him, I couldn't give a fck.
Redeemed himself ?
Fcking lunacy to even think it.

Redeemed himself?.. he's lucky he isn't in a body bag.
i am consistently watched 24/7.. online, outdoors, everyday.
Every online text, every online discussion.. and even conversations in public areas that can be picked up by radio frequencies using Morse code.
And i'm being monitored because i'm capable of doing dangerous sh*t.. just like working out the above.
Some of the stuff technology can do.. will blow the average imbeciles mind.
'behave yourself out there, trust me'.. these 'headaches' don't appear out of thin air.
On a serious note, if it comes out that they've in any way been complicit in making the Americans' liable to pay the Trust (due to saying that there was no SHA), I'll be interested to see what the consequences will be

F*ck Huw Jenkins. I'd love nothing more than us getting safe this weekend, and next weeks game against West Brom being 90 minutes of complete abuse towards the absolute w@nker.
Jenkins Out
Nice one, this would be a lovely scenario.
"Stand up if you want them out"
That could form an incredibly visible message around the ground.
Proud to have been one of the 231

You should switch service providers Skip. I've got 4 accounts with Vodafone and i don't get any of the shit you are. A lot of the other providers like O2, and Tesco mobile are heavily connected government agencies.
