This probably isn't us actively looking for a CB though by my interpretation. Osterunds are a feeder team of ours, it's where we got Barrow from right? Perhaps we've seen something in the lad and want a closer look.
Upthecity!

Should we not source a striker chap
We have Llorente and Baston, plus McBurnie in an emergency, for a position in which we usually will only have one player on the pitch. As much as I would have liked another option upfront, it's clearly not going to happen, no matter what misgivings some have about Llorente.
You know, Hobbes, some days even my lucky rocket ship underpants don't help.

Commercially this could be huge!! Imagine the extra revenue with that name on the back of a shirt if he's any good lol!
From Walesonline:
"If the defender signs for the Swans he could have the chance to equal the longest name in Premier League history - currently held by Cameron Borthwick-Jackson."

The closest we'll get to a big name signing.

Looks like the Mike van der Hoorn signing could rank alongside the Franck Tabanou and David Ngog signings as the most pointless ever!! With transfer fees/wages you've gotta be looking at over £10 million in wastage for the three....

You might think I've forgotten, but one day, when you least expect it, my time will come.

"This" .... fair enough point if you ask me mate? Another centre back when Van der Hoorn couldn't get a game in a five man defence on Sunday. .
Wales online article regarding this Papa... what ever his name is gives a bit of info about Van der Hoorn - apparently he's a way off challenging for the 1st team. Which begs the question(s) who scouted him & why did we bother signing him?

It seems to be his opinion about Van der Hoorn, presumably reflecting the fact he wasn't picked against Chelsea, rather than a direct opinion from inside the club.

GUIDOLIN: He is 26, I saw him play with us in the afternoon 15 minutes 11 v 11 at Fairwood, I don’t know him, I saw him yesterday for the first time, he is training with the Under 23 team.
