Morality contest.cameron/corbyn 13:48 - Jun 24 with 2186 views | perchrockjack | One promises referendum ,delivers it and resigns as he said he would whilst corbyn, virtually silent during campaign ,watches him fall on his sword. Corbyn does a u turn as regards our membership since his rebel, rabble rousing, ira/Hamas supporting days. The working class he claims to represent now face the possibility of Johnson, gove, may leading our country. If the tories are re elected they could well rip up benefits we receive from Europe, also employment protection, human rights. Corbyn should have been active in the labour heartlands along with Cameron warning of what might now come. He was virtually anonymous. This was a time to forget party politics, wasn't it jez. Without doubt, this guy is beneath contempt

But they're the party of the people Perch... I still can't understand - a traffic cone put forward by Labour can be voted in yet they voted out. Identity issues???!

Morality contest.cameron/corbyn on 13:56 - Jun 24 with 2139 views | perchrockjack | Yes the people, corbyn has shafted to get power himself or just to see Cameron fall. Can't think of a more disgusting politician What says Dennis skinner then Like the labour movement, it's banal platitudes, drivel for the masses. I truly am fearful yet some can't see it

"Gorgeous in the trough" I know you didn't mean to write that but I think its a potentially lovely metaphor crying out to be used somehow.

Sadly, I think that come the next general election, most constituencies in Wales will once again return the same old Labour politicians.

Morality contest.cameron/corbyn on 15:29 - Jun 24 with 2037 views | Professor | I largely agree with you. Cameron has acted with honour-but ultimately driven out by the right wing of his party and fear of UKIP. There is a real risk of loss of employment and workers rights which Corbyn has failed to defend leaving the work to people like Alan Johnston. Plenty of good Labour MP's (Ellesmere Port & Neston have one) out there who could protect workers with more moderate views. Perhaps and ideal time for change to a more centre-left leader again given the right drift of the Tories.
Morality contest.cameron/corbyn on 15:37 - Jun 24 with 2015 views | perchrockjack | I'm a big metaphor man Lohengrin. Today, we need a little levity. I note you're pretty silent on today's events. I can think of many metaphors for Diane abbot but I d be banned by bony again and I don't want to offend,at least not until the new football season. I see a bad moon rising. I see trouble all the way. I see I can see for miles and miles and miles and miles. Who s next. Anyway, two days left and me and child bride off to walk up a steep hill to top of pueblo for no other reason than we love each other more than ever after 38 yrs together.

Morality contest.cameron/corbyn on 18:32 - Jun 24 with 1821 views | Dr_Winston | Corbyn has been anti-EU for his entire political life. Every word he said in support of remaining was a lie. It's hardly surprising that he was less enthusiastic about campaigning to remain than he was about boffing Diane Abbott.
