If they'd been written off before the year end then we'd have been marginally solvent for the first time in ages. Yet there will be some that take perverse pleasure raking through this. Yes we've paid a lot of muppets way too much in the past few years, but I don't see that happening now. I follow a local journalist (who I think is a QPR fan) on Twitter who positively gloats each time he tweets about another failing of QPR..... Bit of a wind up really. Well I suppose that it is, but they need to say something about the claim even if they don't give details. The auditors haven't commented on the situation anyway, which probably doesn't mean much but presumably they will have seen evidence to back up the view expressed in note 26.

I've blocked a couple of QPR accounts and muted scores of others on there because it was all doing my head in. QPR on Twitter is like the playground at a school for kids with behaviour problems. Useful for driving traffic back to the site from my point of view but other than that mind-numbing and vile at times. Following-wise I mostly use it to keep up with the rugby league now as there's no coverage down here.

I think the point is, that its taken an inordinate amount of time and hundreds and hundreds of millions of pounds, before the penny finally dropped! In the process, we've squandered the riches before us and the opportunity two promotions to the Premiership presented us. We have nothing tangible to show for the last four and a half years beyond the hope, that maybe, things are now beginning to be run properly. I only hope that none of this impacts in any way, with what we're clearly seeing develop under JFH's stewardship.

These are 14/15 accounts so no FFP on these, its 13/14 we're arguing about. Next set of accounts relating to this season (Out 1 year from now obviously!) will show if we are compliant or not.

Yeah I get what you are saying. Of course it's disappointing that the money was spent so badly. I would obviously rather us have a new training ground than to have ever paid Bosingwa, Wright-Phillips or Traore tens of thousands of pounds every week. But what's done is done, and the future is finally starting to look like what we were promised. Young, hungry players on the way up, with a sensible wage structure in place, lots of great work with ex-players and the local community taking place and (hopefully) a new badge and shirt that we feel more comfortable with next season. It's the pleasure that some take in our weaknesses that does my nut in. I was born and bred in Shepherds Bush, so unless a historic paedophile ring of BBC proportions is found to have taken place in the upper Loft - QPR have got me for life. I intend to try and enjoy the ride, no matter how bumpy it always is.

Calling All Amateur Accountants! on 12:23 - Mar 31 with 4358 views | superhoopdownunder | Yes been run incompetently for the past 4.5 years Very annoying to pay shit footballers millions upons millions of pounds making them wealthy when they neither had the talent or commitment to keep us up Phillip Beard as the CEO was in charge during all of this period Redknapp was manager Having Lee Hoos here now we can and are turning this around I bet he could not believe what was going on when he started with us I can't believe we need 108 players, managers, coaches and support staff 163 people working at the club earning 73m (including taxes and pension payments) - an average wage of 447k each per year - can I get a job please? Crazy - we are or should not be that big in terms of number of people or amount we pay I would have thought we should be able to run our club with less than 100 paid people working at the club including players JFH must think we were mad with the 41 man first team squad when he turned up I will be interested to see the books over the next 2 years with Lee Hoos taking over from the lunatics running the show previously U R's [Post edited 31 Mar 2016 12:25]

There are many, but he isn't who I was on about. For some reason, anytime I read Rob Brennan's tweets about QPR I just get massively irritated. He tweets a lot about local boxing though which I do find interesting

This is what I was thinking too. Sure, it's not our money but it's a waste on a gigantic scale that has resulted in absolutely fk all for QPR whilst quite a lot of (mainly average) players have got even richer than they were already. This will now hold us back for a few more years, maybe longer. Complete and utter shambles over the last 5 years.
