If it ends up broadly cost neutral, I think we would be tempted. But why on earth would a) WHam want another forward and b) Would he want to go and sit on their bench or compete with Carroll, Sakho and Valencia?

Fair point although both Carroll & Sakho get injured regularly & SSN seem to feel Cole is on his toes so I could see them interested + he's a typical big Sam striker.......I'm with you on the cost neutral + viable cover option just incredibly late for us in a window to get anything sorted, unless Huw's got his phone on of course :-) |  | | |
