Your favourite ever Blackpool goal? 08:47 - Aug 7 with 3735 viewsTwoPhillips

Now this can be in terms of actual skill or celebration. Three that instantly spring to mind.

Keigan Parker at Wembley
Was it Scott Vernon in the 96th minute on a wet Tuesday night?
Martin Bullock's Golden Goal - just because it's the only one I've experienced

Mixture of skill, importance and timing!

Whilst the three you mention were superb, I would go for the one below.

Not the best ever goal I've seen, but it has to be Brett's goal at Wembley.

Gotta say Phil Clarkson's backheel goal

0
Your favourite ever Blackpool goal? on 08:52 - Aug 7 with 3714 viewstommytwojags

Importance? Obviously the fourth goal in the '53 final.

Most popular goal - Micky Walsh's goal of the season

Most beautiful - The one Suddick lifted over the defender and volleyed in. Can't remember who it was against, and Tony Green's against West Ham when he left Bobby Moore on his arse.

My favourite? Charlie's free kick at Wembley.

DJ's second at Forest.

Bully's golden goal is a good shout though.

Got to be Keigan Parker at Wembley for me!

Surprised we haven't tried to resign him too Airdrieonians probably pay him better than we would however.

Good thread, and I like all TTJ's selections.

I'd add :

Simmo at the Millstad

Omerod's winner v Watford (for eventual significance)

Southern, at Leicester - Blackpool are back

Ormerod, opening day 2000/01 (I think) versus Hull

Hatton's disallowed goal against Blackburn

Varney versus Fulham

Ormerod versus Tottenham. History before your very eyes

Lots of Ormerod there. But he is one of my favourite Poll players ever.

Icon? It's all Rio Ferdinand's fault.

Oh and I can't find it online but Morrell's in the second leg against Oldham, great ball by Wes, Andy lifts it over the keeper and reels away in front of the North. What a frickin legend.

It was the exact point I knew we were going up.

Suddick v Verona

If only it had been televised, the BBC etc would be showing it even today. Not only the best Blackpool goal, but the best goal that I seen in any football match anywhere.

Some great suggestions

Bullys golden goal, i was at the mariners due to work and i swear the roof lifted when it went in

Varneys screamer from the south/east stand corner, i was already celebrating as it left his foot.

Heres one, DJ'S back heel miss hit at the posh....rubbish goal but soooo so important in the grand scheme of all things tangerine.

However, there can only be one.....That free kick at wembley, Charlie take a bow son

Has to be SuperBrett at Wembley, a real old fashioned poacher's goal

Not the most skilful, or hardest shot or anything, but it opened the door to a world we had only ever dreamed of.

Most skilful was Mickey Walsh goal of the seasom

Bit of a curve ball one but I think my favourite goal was actually Brett's 4th at Wembley - for me that was such a crucial goal as it killed off Orient, it was the most beautiful build up play and after the Barnes error of the first minute I think it was the first time I honestly believed we were back up.

Without a doubt charlies freekick against cardiff at Wembley. I saw it coming and is a goal I will never forget. It gets played in my head on a daily basis

Hameur Bouazza against Peterbrough to put us 2-0 up after like 10 minutes. Superbly beat his man and squeezed it in from a tight angle. Varneys against Wolves is another fave.

Mickey Mellon 30 yarder into the South stand I think it was against Swansea, Keith Southern away at Cheltenham to get us into league 1 play-offs and Charlie free kick at wembley.
