If this news is true ,the marketing of home grown talent,be it only two---Davies and Allen----'has proved a most lucrative source of finance for the Club.
£23m for the two players surely necessitates a policy of introducing at least one youngster a year into the squad.
Whilst Allen was nurtured through the lower leagues, Ben Davies might never have been given the opportunity if it hadn't been for Neil Taylor's injury.
