Player of the Month for August Wednesday, 1st Sep 2010 12:10 by Col
August is now over which means that it is time for Dale supporters to cast their vote on their Player of the Month for August.
As always, this is a Dale Trust award but this year it is being sponsored by this website allowing supporters to make their vote on who will be the Player of the Month for each month.
It is open to all supporters, not just Trust members, but each Trust member who enters will win the chance to make the presentation of this award to the winning player.
We'll get some nice fancy form for you to complete soon, but for now cast your vote by emailing the name of the winning player to info@daletrust.org.uk
The closing date is Monday 6th September.

It's a close call but I think COG, closely followed by Wiseman!

Because he occupies the unglamorous role of right-back, the way he bombs up down that flank, one minute breaking up an attack the next powering into opposition half delivering quality crosses, it's got to be Scott Wiseman.

Its the captain for me Gary Jones for real workmanlike performances, his movement off the ball, allways making himself available and beating the keeper on four occasions.

Blogs 31 bloggersKnees-up Mother Brown #19 by wessex_exile February, and the U’s enter the most pivotal month of the season. Six games in just four weeks, with four of them against sides also in the bottom six. By March we should be either well clear of danger, or even deeper in the sh*t. With Danny Cowley’s U’s still unbeaten, and looking stronger game on game, I’m sure it’ll be the former, but first we have to do our bit to consign Steve ‘Sour Grapes’ Cotterill’s FGR back to non-league. After our shambolic 5-0 defeat at New Lawn, nothing would give me greater pleasure, even if it meant losing one of my closest awaydays in the process. What’s the excuse going to be today Steve – shocking pitch, faking head injuries, Mexican banditry or some other bit of sour-grapery bullsh*t? Everton Polls |
