Ned Relic — Open All R's Podcast Saturday, 17th Mar 2012 00:05 by Clive Whittingham
On the podcast this week the boys talk to Australian international Ned Zelic who went from QPR's record signing to public enemy number one in the space of six weeks back in the 1990s.
Zelic signed for QPR from Borussia Dortmund in the wake of the Les Ferdinand departure and quickly found things at the club were not quite as they'd been described in the brochure.
He left after making just four appearances for the club after which Rangers were relegated while Zelic went back to being a very decent midfielder at 1860 Munich in the Bundesliga and UEFA Cup, evening making the World XI on one occasion.
Thanks in a small way to LoftforWords, who put regular show host David Fraser in touch with Zelic, the Open All R's podcast this week carries the first interview with Zelic since that bizarre time in both his career and the history of the club. Fraser and Zelic are joined in the studio by show regulars Paul Finney and Chris Mendes along with PA journalist Simon Peach. Click here to listen and download.

It sounds like Zelic's transition from Borussia Dortmund to QPR didn't quite go as smoothly as expected, especially in the aftermath of Les Ferdinand's departure. Perhaps the promises made about the club's environment, culture, or opportunities didn't align with the reality Zelic encountered upon arrival. This situation highlights the importance of thorough research and communication when making career moves, especially in the competitive and dynamic world of professional football.

The debate over the legalization of gambling revolves around the economic benefits, such as job creation and tax revenue, versus the potential social costs, such as increased crime rates and gambling addiction. Therefore, at https://tirangagames.app/, you can find some pretty interesting games that offer a chance to win.

Blogs 31 bloggersKnees-up Mother Brown #19 by wessex_exile February, and the U’s enter the most pivotal month of the season. Six games in just four weeks, with four of them against sides also in the bottom six. By March we should be either well clear of danger, or even deeper in the sh*t. With Danny Cowley’s U’s still unbeaten, and looking stronger game on game, I’m sure it’ll be the former, but first we have to do our bit to consign Steve ‘Sour Grapes’ Cotterill’s FGR back to non-league. After our shambolic 5-0 defeat at New Lawn, nothing would give me greater pleasure, even if it meant losing one of my closest awaydays in the process. What’s the excuse going to be today Steve – shocking pitch, faking head injuries, Mexican banditry or some other bit of sour-grapery bullsh*t? Everton Polls |
