It was definitely one of the easiest ones where ultimately all the letters are pretty simple to translate from the riddle then into a short word, there's not much working out to be done it's just the timescale that adds any pressure, well when you're sat on your couch at least

Tbh they all managed in the football league with us, we're now at a lesser point in the pyramid. Not too sure it's just a "drop in form" that's the major worry, for me it's his consistency to play a certain way that's blatantly not working with the personel hes recruited to do that job, not to mention his in game management, that would take some real explaining.

We need to remember it's supposed to be entertaining first and foremost, the football for the majority and even before this season would be a superb cure for insomnia, im not sure it helps Jim's cause any the absolute shite we got served up weekly by BBM, sadly its very similar

It took me a while and I was sat at home with a brew in my hand, it was the rotation of the letter that caught me out on the first lap of options... different pressures on the show against the clock, great effort 👍

I thought I saw him...always easier sat at home, but the 1% question was one of the easiest I've seen on there

Alty could really turn us over too if we're not careful, they are very dangerous.... the clock could well be ticking

I agree, it's not good enough to win the league but very capable of challenging the top 3/4 positions, i wouldn't be surprised to see us completely fall away from the play offs positions either which is criminal really looking at the options available to the manager.

Today's game was far too similar to many others this season, when we had the chance to really push on, and make some real progress instead we chose to cruise around with the handbrake up a couple of clicks

Looking at their pitch today it makes ours look like a freshly prepared Wembley, be fun to see how we adapt to that surface I'd be staying well clear of over passing it, even more so across the back line.

Shame we couldn't "roll substitutions" until it's too late as usual eh Jim, his in game decision making is an absolute shambles, very much resembles the old rabbit in the headlights.

I'm beginning to think this team's done very well to be this high up the table inspite of Jim rather than as a result of him.

Couldn't see that coming for about 20 mins, every single man behind the ball and nothing sticks up front on the odd time we do manage to clear... great in game management on show again.

God only knows what Hogan was trying to do when running towards his own goal to score that OG

Some of Gilmours touches have been similar too, the last one he put into touch even surprised him where it ended up... coming under the cosh much more but don't take your chances that's what generally happens

Rodneys touch is horrendous, 1 blazed over from 6 yards first half when easier to hit the target, now took a ridiculously heavy touch when played through clean on goal early second half

He was more involved into R2R property and short term Booking.com type properties, he was speaking to a friend recently regarding outside investments. A thoroughly decent chap

Imagine playing a natural striker up front in a team struggling to score or even shoot for that matter recently... whatever next

Apparently we all need to "respect the point' whilst playing at home, chasing the play offs against bottom of the league with a -46 goal difference...the mind boggles

In order to be "sustainable" the most crucial part is the product on the pitch, i seem to have been saying the same thing for what seems like years and years but we're definitely not seeing the best of the current crop of players, remember saying similar when BBM bore us all to fooking sleep too

Whilst the managers first priority is to try and not concede and keep possession, the final result kind of seems immaterial at times, while the chance or choice even to go more attack minded is plenty down the priority list

It's even more of a concern knowing the squad we've got to choose from and the multitude of options available to the manager... its just plain weird

Just when you thought the Oldham game couldn't be topped for poor, without being all Billy big spuds we should be thumping teams like this if we've any remote idea of troubling the playoffs.

Why Do Managers See Different?
at 16:03 6 Feb 2025

It certainly needs to, the amount of goals conceded every single week even more so at the very very top is becoming hilarious, I'm sure it was Danny Murphy on TalkSport recently said something on the lines of "you're asking your least technically gifted player on the pitch to play the most important pass in the most critical part of the pitch, it's just insane"

That ball against Arsenal from John Stones to Akanji across his own box facing his own goal whilst a players breathing down his neck at 0.0 set the tone for the full game, leading to an already fragile side with a self made mountain to climb, its just plain weird.
