I must have misunderstood the rules. I was under the impression that an accidental collision resulting in a head injury would be a drop ball. Moot point really, because judging by Francos face he’s set out to smash him. |

He’s a better manager than Martin IMO. Accept he’ll want to move on eventually, but he should set his sights higher than West Brom. I would get it if Levein and Kaplan still had his hand behind his back. |

He’s going to be ambitious and look to move to a bigger club at some point, it would be naive to think otherwise. I think he should be setting his sights higher than West Brom though. Is it that much of an upgrade? A few months back, with Levein and Kaplan strangling the club, I could have understood it. Either way, he needs to show a lot more class answering those questions. He’s let himself down today. |

I’d take a stab at a club who always seem to be in the championship. Bristol City? |

I doubt he’ll be their first choice. Can’t be cheap to poach a manager and his staff from a club in the same division. My biggest worry here is how it affects the Darling negotiations. He’ll have better financial offers. Buying into what the manager is trying to do may be a key factor in whether he stays. Disappointing comments from Williams. |

Certainly reads like one. I think he’s done a very good job this season, but if he’s going to openly flirt with a club that would only be a modest step up, he can go. He’s not irreplaceable. |

I’ve no idea. His biggest problem is what to do when we’re in possession though. He just doesn’t know what he’s meant to do. It’s quite possible Slovenia play a style he’s used to and he fits in better. He often seems to be a late sub. They may just be bringing him on for a smaller/less attack minded player when they are chasing the game? Good to see the ‘we don’t create enough for him’ theory being put to bed. That’s on him, but I do think he’s improved his movement in the last two games. Yates, Kukharevych and Vipotnik in a row does not make good reading. |

It’s a pointless exercise when he does it on is own and we’re reasonably set behind him I agree. I assumed he was under instruction to do that? It would make sense if he’s not quite sure when and how to do it, as he often appears unsure what to do while we’re in possession. |

Absolutely not writing him off. I’ve just never seen a player that raw exposed to so much football before. I suppose that’s Kaplan and Leveins legacy. He can’t read play properly, makes the wrong runs and seems unusually timid for a player of his stature. Don’t think I’ve seen him impose himself on a centre back once. Don’t really agree on his shooting. Yes it’s wayward sometimes, but the ability to hit it with that much power, out of nothing, with either foot, is pretty rare. He’s made better runs and been played into shooting positions a couple of times recently, so hopefully he’s starting to find his feet. |

Bianchini is certainly the better of the two at the moment. |

Crossed wires mate. I was referring to Vipotnik there. I’m not sure Cullen has improved as much as been moved to a role that suits his skill set. He’s a better finisher than Cooper, times his runs better and can pick a pass that opens up a defence. Cooper is much better defensively though, which is important with Tymon bombing forward and no real pace between any of Grimes, Franco or Allen. |

He can shoot powerfully and accurately with both feet without needing much time or backlit. Granted every other aspect of his game is way below where it should be, but he’s starting to make the right runs and get on the same wavelength as his teammates now. If he gets the rest of his game up to speed, he’ll be a real weapon. If he doesn’t, he’ll be yet another poor signing up front. |
