I think the HH is the only pub in Hammersmith I've not been to. It was Watney's beer, so a no-no, then a sort of cafe/restaurant. Does the Belle have cask Ale ?
Also on Hammersmith, there's a new pub on King Street called the Hammersmith Belle. Anyone been in ? I've been in prison - no, not really, I've been away visiting relatives.

I suppose “horses for courses” would be the phrase used in this instance. I haven't really got a clue, but perhaps a few Colback characters would've helped. By the same token, could you say a few tricky clever players should've run rings around 'em ?
My alcohol-drenched memory isn't the best, but wasn't there a couple of seasons some time when Palace needed a win to stay up and we just capitulated ( apart fron Holloway, as player), and a few seasons later, Vicky Verky, we needed a win and Palace phoned it in to use modern parlance.

Thanks to QPR+ I now see all matches and can only remember one match where Varane played really well. I suppose Morgan is a bit callow to play every week. I think he's only on loan and I guess we're rather unlikely to sign him up.
Glad Pompey have pulled round. I used to holiday in the IOW a bit a few years back, going over on the hovercraft from Southsea. So I spent a fair bit of time in Portsmouth & Southsea. Brickwoods, Charles Gale & Burts beers. 2-2 would be fine.
