Not sure if my tolerance levels are improving or I'm just getting old... but I don't normally feel this Zen after us getting tanked 2-6

Not long home. I have to say I was amazed that wasn't abandoned... it was ridiculous .....

Had to give the likes of Dunne, Morgan and Smythe a rest today. So wasn't that too surprised about the team, and the concensus around us was about the same.

In that first half honestly there was never a feeling we mugged
the game off, in fact the opposite I thought that team played pretty well and was up for it. Kholli, Chair, Varane, were very impressive. Unfortunately we made some real errors.

In all honestly the at the ground I couldn't even see the first goal go in, and couldn't tell you who messed up for the other 2, but reading the forum I guess it was Ashby

The defence just fell apart the second half. No real leaders in that defence without Naardi, Cook, Dunne and Fox.

Am I glad I went, for the noise, and the Rooney chant it was worth it. For the game not so sure. I'm now going to bed and well amazed how I'm not totally p!ssed off about this. I guessed as with all things QPRard..... im also FACard

A very very frustrating 1st half, though Kholli's gift as given us hope, just shows mistakes happen!

The game itself as been really entertaining and Just goes to show you here and the Swansea game, both can be summed up for us, a cobbled up defence don't really work

The frustrating part is that we were the better team, for large parts of that half. Then 2 mistakes and they score....but we are not out of this yet

Chair for me is possibly the best player on the park. Varane also doing well. Perhaps also Kholli is proving that we might not need to get another forward in, as he as given the defence not a moments piece, and took his goal well

Must get Masden off, he has been completely by-passed and bring Morgan on. As for Edwards and JCS I would leave them on, they need minutes together as they are going to be our pairing. Maybe bring Dunne on, but honestly I would leave Ashby in as apart from that brain fact he as been decent

We are not out of this yet, and certainly not been outclassed. In fact for me the opposite, we have been the better team.

Rod Stewart 80 Today.
at 12:51 11 Jan 2025

My brother was born in '46 and as a 12 year old he was on Brentford's book until 16 when women and drink came into his life...

He regales the world as when he was on the books a young Rod Stewart had trials, but was never called back.... everyone by now would be waiting for some Rod stories, a tell all confession.... where he then admits he never met him.... always gets a grown ...

There really should be some sort of mental cognitive test when you admit to being a QPR supporter

2 years ago I swore off ever doing an FA cup match again.... Fleetwood.... I relented then after swearing off from the Peterborough fiasco the year before... but Fleetwood was the last straw

So Bournemouth last year, stayed home nice and warm, and smug in the knowledge that I had nailed this FA cup old turkey....

OK missed the family day out, and the craic with the lads around us, but it wasn't that painful.

Then ... and I blame Marti for this.... Tuesday a text... Leicester Saturday?

Ignored, perhaps if ignore they will go away, leave me alone.
Then yesterday a call this time... got you a ticket leaving at 8.30 ....can't ignore that.... hmmm let you know

Not even an intervention from Mrs MinT, as stopped me....
Yes will be there, the Bustards have got me again.... bloody Club!!!!

So expecting 4pm Saturday to be totally p!ssed off, after we have played the development squad again Leicester's D team.... and lost .... facing adrive home... but just but..... this might be the year

Heart 2-0 us.... joy uncontained.... head 0-2 and totallfinished with all this.... until the next time

Predict the team for the cup game
at 08:42 7 Jan 2025

Don't think you are far off the team there Numpty

So our Squad XI vs Leicester B team XI

Walsh
Ashby JCS Edwards Paal (possibly the Fox in the box)
EDB Colback
Saito Andersen Lloyd
Kholli

Be lovely to play the strongest side possibly, but that ship as sailed for nearly every club now, it is just not done
If the above is played, or close to it, and we lose, there will be the normal whinge , not taking it serious, no respect to the fans etc.
But soon forgotten as we are now customer to it. Sad really

Frey Goal

In real time I never saw the hand ball, it was only when it was analysed that I saw it... I thought it was a load of Bo!!ocks, but seeing the way Frey celebrated I wonder if he thought it was going to be chalked off

Thought he had his best game for us tonight since coming back. Put some glorious crosses in and covered some ground doing defensive duties.
Good to see him coming back. Does he play Saturday?

Said this much on the match thread... you just have to love this lad...
Normally I don't take so quickly yo players, but there is just something about Alfie that tugs at you, and you're almost willing the lad to come good, just absolutely love the lad and hope he as a career with us

Bit harsh that far... on the reply I definitely saw Fox jump up and then put his foot back down to let the ball fickle off his heel into the opposite corner... totally meant... 😉😉
