Its funny how everyone has a different MOM, (M'Bia for me, gave his shirt away again today as well) proves we are playing as a team now, hope Harry has timed his purple patch to perfection especially with "on paper" winnable games coming up, will we soon hear those words " and QPR have moved out of the bottom three".

Well done thou today happy R.

Townsend MOM for me. Lots of different pov's on JSP. I think that his work rate was excellent - when he wins the ball he does the simple pass to one of our players but I did not think he was exceptional today. Harry clearly deciding that JSP and MBia will be the holding players and the two quicker lads in midfield did well for us today - Junior and Townsend. Not much being send about Samba - who was outstanding today.

He is gradually improving and was fully involved today. To call him abysmal is clueless

Toss up between Boswinga or Towsend for my MOTM

Park's recently improved to average.

Townsend, Samba, Hill, Hoilet,Fabio, Bosingwa, Remy....all well ahead of him today.

Thought when Mackie came on, we got the real deal for that role.

I thought you were being serious until the last line.

Mackie as a hold-the-ball midfield player linking play would be a marvel to behold.

As easy as it is to be sentimental about Mackie, Townsend has well and truly shown him up since he's arrived. Works his socks off the same but can play football too.

I thought Park had a very solid game overall. He had maybe 2 or 3 instances where he passed it out of defence to the opposition, and he did get bamboozled for their goal but I thought he did really well for most of the game. Knew were to be and used the ball well in subtle ways.

One of his better games but nowhere near MOTM, so well done.

But he simply isn't the player he was just 2 years ago. And we are stuck with him for another year because of the Air Asia Korea connections but I don't expect him to be an automatic choice to start.

Agreed Brooklyn.
Solid game but not MOM that goes to Townsend, not only for the goal but every time he got on the ball thought we were in with a chance of doing damage.

I thought Park gave the ball away quite a lot, but often that was off the back of breaking up something Sunderland were doing.

Watching on-and-off as I was, at least he looked like he was in the game and giving some effort.

So...... if Park is playing better, Bosingwa is playing much better, and everyone is looking more like a team than at any stage this season........... I take that to mean we'll start looking really good, put some results together......... and then get tragically relegated on GD!

Phew, close one! You very nearly said something positive there but, fair play, you just managed to stop yourself!

Can´t say I rate him as a premiership player anymore sadly, well not for a team constantly scrapping and cannot create enough space and time for him anyway.

Plays his heart out but not incisive enough and looks too small so gets knocked off the ball too easily. At the moment we need people who play there heart out and as Arry said yesterday he was a risk as he played out of his normal position so well done to the lad.

Park was exactly what we needed in midfield yesterday. Didn't allow Sunderland time on the ball and broke up play and played the easy ball. He stays on his feet and makes it hard for the opposition to create much. In the end, if you're playing 4 attacking players like we did yesterday, Park and Mbia did exactly as they should've done. Won the ball and then given it to the creative players.

Park was no where near MOM, that was between Townsend and Bosingwa.

Not sure he was motm but certainly his last two games have been a great improvement. If I was going to pick a motm it would be Bosingwa amazing how his attitude has changed.

Townsend. By a mile.

They all put in a shift which is what is needed more often then not to win a game. At the game yesterday I gave Mbia my motm what wasn't so evident until I watched it on sky (now this does have to be whispered quietly) was how good Bosingwa was.

I thought both Park and Bosingwa had solid games. I didn't think I'd say that .In fact, the latter was close to my MOM.
Park made some errors with his distribution but broke up their play well and, in the last 15 minutes, showed his experience by taking the pace out of the game.

Townsend's goal was against the run of play (second half, at least). But, after that, I never thought we'd concede an equaliser.

Just watched the Sky extended highlights I made a special point of following Park just like the old Player cam option

Did a lot of running, was always available, got the ball quickly passed it onto another Rangers player. Looked a bit lightweight but only gave the ball away twice

He doesnt look as good as when at Man U, but then again he was playing with better players

Not MoM but definitely not abysmal

He is improving, not sure we will be able to get away with playing him in a 2 for the rest of the season but he is definitely going to be useful for this run in.

As an impact sub for the last 10 minutes, he was the real deal. Chased loads of balls down which is what you want when you're ahead.

Park did very well and played the game we'd been hoping and expecting when he signed. Credit where it's due.

I don't think he was MOM though. Townsends goal earnt him that right and Boswingwa's corners / free kicks were dreadful.

They all did what was needed and required.

Benchmark set - do the same at Villa and who knows....

Do you think that Harry had a chat with Fergie about what to do with Park, over the traditional bottle of red after the Man Utd game?

Seems strange that Park was brought back at Southampton - not many people predicted that one - and he's been moving onto the front foot ever since.

Interesting thought. Fwiw, I've never thought that SAF sold us Park because he thought he was completely gone. I'd be pretty sure that SAF would have been as bemused by Park's lack of form as much as anybody.
