So enjoyable as a pundit. He just loves the game so much.

Another slightly peculiar thread .
Tells me that things on the pitch must be going ok when we have to dig Warnock out for something to gripe about .

Each to their own of course. But can’t think of a better or more enjoyable season in my now 50 years .
“Charlatan” is just a bit much personally .

It’s a great debate and an interesting read and hasn’t turned into name calling.

Why this place is such a cool thing to be part of.

managing a football club is not a popularity contest; otherwise Neil would probably never have got a job.

but to have managed so many tinpot clubs and achieved promotions or staved off relegations (in our case, both, in consecutive seasons) over the course of decades in the game, means he will leave a legacy as a top class manager.

abrasive, dodgy, rude, self centred........ applies to many of the most successful managers.

i have nothing but fond memories of Warnock's time in charge of us; that period gives me loads of stand out memories that i'll cherish for ever.

anyone who could harness the mental that was Taraabt and convince a team including Sean Derry and Clint Hill to support that lunatic, rather than throttle him after training has something special about him. Let's never underestimate what he achieved for us.

Then thrown under the bus by the F1 crowd when he needed some support to strengthen the squad.

The bloke's legacy across English football is legendary as are his man management skills.

Marti also seems to have built a great dressing room spirit and , like Warnock, finds it easy to talk to the fans and the media.

But of course Marti's also steeped in the technical side of the job which was less of a thing for most managers of Warnock's generation.

What a great combo. We're lucky.
