I first saw it mentioned by a Skippyjack on Phils site. Just seen this nottsfan81 Ok so I've spent the day doing some research. My gut says this is happening as it's too random to not have any legs to it. From what I can gather you guys want to establish something similar to what is in place at Notts and although on the face of it we are a L2 club why copy us, in fact we are an incredibly.well run club who have taken huge strides in 5 years. Our owners think over 10-15 years rather than 1 or 2 which can be a little frustrating at times but finally it feels like the club has a long term plan to go with long term ambition. The club as you know use Football Radar a system used by betting companies to give them analysis. The club then also employ a team who just look for and scout for Notts using the data. I do wonder if we are going to do some sort of deal with you guys to allow you access to some or all of the data - I'd be surprised if it's all as it's seen as our secret weapon but everyone has a price and data is only 1 part of recruitment. In the past few years we have made more money in transfers than the previous 20. Well over a million which is quite a lot for our level and we just turned down £750k plus for our main striker who we bought from the Danish leagues a year ago for £100kish Montague has been with the brothers since they came to the UK in 2011, he has helped establish the company and also was the one who was tasked with finding a football club for the owners to buy. He is the link between them and the club So for him to make the jump you guys must be offering him a big role and a lot of money. He must be on a fair bit at Notts. Also for those who want LW out I can't see that happening in the coming months if this happens [Post edited 7 Feb 22:47]

I think most of the information has come from this site. Especially the work that was done for the recent reports. It seems to have been repeated a lot since. Mind you it’s so obvious I would now have to say - it won’t happen 😂 Football radar is obviously something that Notts County fans will be aware of.

He’s someone who knows the lower leagues, it’s a favourite hunting ground for the Swans, if he is appointed then he has inside knowledge into league 2 and below. For me that will be the reason Coleman may prefer him, cheap players. Whoever gets it the club will rinse them dry and then move them on. As Swansea supporters we used to look upwards, these days even the club are looking down. | ![](/images/avatars/27565.gif) |

Is this guy really off the menu on 06:20 - Feb 8 with 700 views | PawelAbbott | The club already has a Data Science department, although it is generally aimed at feeding information into the training sessions. The use of a tool like Football Radar has barely unique to Notts County, there are numerous tools on the market and a number of Consultancies that offer a similar service. The club used to use an American Consultancy whose name I forget. It didn't last long as the information he provided was very limited. The problem with most of these tools is the limited amount of data available. Systems like Hawkeye that track player movements are very expensive so only used at the very highest level such as the Euros. Below that there are tools to take positional data from camera footage, which is then limited to players in view. Whatever data provided by Football Radar is, I would assume that it is mostly made from publicly sourced data. That us something that was offered to the club previously and was laughed at. | ![](/images/avatars/0.gif) | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |

All very fishy. Luke looked pretty excited when talking about the new man. Seemed like he knew him. But then apparently we would have to offer Montague “a lot of money”, which doesn’t seem anything like what we do here. Plus, LW job looks like being safe if he does come, which doesn’t seem right either. The way Luke was talking in the Bristol pre match, seemed to me like he was sticking up for his friends and work mates, who aren’t very experienced and need a little help. It didn’t seem like he was talking about his boss and his seniors. From what I heard there, it seems Williams is safe.Hes been allowed to blame the chairman and his staff. He seemed quite jovial and even cocky. So now Williams has complete permission to say and do what he wants,as he’s been told it’s not his fault. | ![](/images/avatars/11384.gif) |

Savarese doing media work in the States I believe and thought Birch still with the F.A. Birch was in the stand for the Portsmouth home game. Hasn't he connections with Pompey?. Savarese watched us back in October. Ive still got a gut feeling about Savarase as our next manager. [Post edited 8 Feb 9:18]
