Just not on the front foot looking to attack the chance enough for me, not a great finisher, and always thought he could be more imposing. Granted he tries though, and good luck to him if its true.
However, as with all these things: whats the fee? The wish list would be for a striker that can do it at this level from the off or very soon thereafter. Something we've been unable to do since 2013.

If it’s Dykes or Chair sold to balance the books, Dykes is obviously the better option. Today again showed how we missed Chair on the left, Saito is the excellent apprentice to the master. I think a lot of us underate Dykes but unlike the last few seasons we now have alternatives. Wish him the best

Do we have alternatives ?
Beyond Frey and Celar I'm pretty sure we don't have any other centre forwards. You normally need 3 during the course of the season. On the other hand we appear to have an abundance who play across the attacking midfield (Smyth, Chair, Anderson, Kolli, Saito, Demebele and Lloyd)
