Huddersfield Match Thread 16:16 - Mar 12 with 33048 views | PinnerPaul | Started the BC one, so here's hoping for a similar result. We're quite strong favourites for this one - Even money with Paddy P. I'll go for 2-0 Johansson and Chair to score
Huddersfield Match Thread on 16:56 - Mar 13 with 1848 views | joolsyp | Huddersfield have been the better side and we've been poor by our recent standards (definitely look the tireder of the two sides). It's life in the Championship, regroup and go again.

We still seem to get regularly out thought by teams. But tiredness too.... I fail to see why we look so tired compared to them.

Huddersfield Match Thread on 16:58 - Mar 13 with 1640 views | Malintabuk | Well we have to be honest they thoroughly deserved that Huddersfield They were far the better team especially in the 2nd half and really we never deserved anything from the game Not sure what we can put down as a reason for such a lacklustre performance, conditions, tiredness or just Huddersfield out thought and fought us similar as to Barnsley did. Strange season where home is no longer an advantage to teams and we are one team that is struggling at home. Best to say write this one off as another strange home performance and move on to Millwall. I'm hoping we will be more up for them than we were for Huddersfield today Onwards you Rssssssss

Huddersfield Match Thread on 17:00 - Mar 13 with 1520 views | DylanP | Well suffice to say I liked the first half a lot more than the second. The goal just took all the wind out of our sails and it was frustrating from there. No more so than when we were dicking around with the ball in our own half in the 95th minute Oooof!

Huddersfield Match Thread on 17:02 - Mar 13 with 1438 views | Greenbay | FT REPORT We've been fed a diet of 8 wins in 12 matches before today. That's why this was so disappointing. Our expectations are so high these days. But let's be honest we didn't deserve much from today - well maybe a point maximum. Without doubt physical fatigue and mental fatigue caught up. This was especially after Huddersfield had a week off and we had 3 days to recover. No excuses that's the way it is. We just looked too lethargic against a team that had done their homework. They bombarded us in the first 30 minutes like a barking dog and then produced a solid defensive display. Positionally they were great. If only Kane had scored from just a few yards out in the first half - a clear chance after Chair had split the defence. It was our only chance of the match. But that would have made a difference. This is a most unusual season as we all know. But the positives, certainly this year, outweigh the negatives. We still have a good team if we can hang on to our loanees for next season. If we finish midtable which is now likely that would be a big result. Anything above 13th from last year is quite amazing. Disappointing yes but long-term it's still looking useful.
Huddersfield Match Thread on 17:03 - Mar 13 with 1411 views | QPRSteve | I thought we got outmuscled in midfield. Warburton seems incapable of reacting when things are not going our way. Should have bolstered the midfield or tried going a bit more direct.

That’s nonsense to me We have a big squad, we can rotate players- were allowed 5 subs If warbs wants to go with this excuse, then can he explain why he waited until the 76th minute to make a sub? Why the second batch of subs came in the 87th minute? Why one sub was left unused ? Use of subs today was absolutely godawful given how poor we looked, and how much we need a spark.... but when you factor our fixture congestion, it’s truly incomprehensible
Huddersfield Match Thread on 17:04 - Mar 13 with 1372 views | Antti_Heinola | Most positive thing I can say about that awfulness was that it was better than the absolute cr@p doled out at their place. But only marginally. OK in defence, but we were too deep, no idea up front, Charlie looked knackered, and constantly outnumbered in their half. Kane's miss as dreadful as Johansen's at Birmingham. Frustrating, but you could see from their pressing the rest has done them a bit of good. Still, we have a break soon. Let's hope we can pick up some points before then.

Huddersfield Match Thread on 17:05 - Mar 13 with 1362 views | Hunterhoop | That was dreadful. It's not the end of the world, obviously. But the season is now pretty much dead and we have our customary two months of "meh" left. Frustratingly today, and to try to be balanced, the worst two players on the pitch today were Austin and Johansen. Huge fan of both , but their touch and passing were just awful. Tired legs? No idea. Miles off their own standard. But Johansen was giving it away for fun, dropping way too deep to get it, taking 2-3 too many touches, whilst almost every time the ball went near Austin he miscontrolled or mispassed it. The worrying thing were that, with the two most experienced and high quality players having really poor games, no one else stood up and wanted to take responsibility. No one else was vocal. The same flaws are still there, hiding under the surface. Take Austin and Johansen out of the side (which they did themselves today; they were both hindrances more than helpers) and the side still lacks character, steel and will to win. Adomah needs to play more because he's the best crossed of the ball in the club. That is also annoying.
